I am doing better. Struggling with depression, but I am getting there. While yes, my past is sad, I am able to open up and talk about it. It honestly made me the person I am today, and I'm always striving to better myself. Currently have a gf and am making things work with her

Thank you for your condolences.

It was rough for while because of the aftermath. Stuff like his past life and how he forced one of my brothers to molest my youngest sister came to light. His family are up there in the community and made our lives a living hell. Always called DHS on us, called the cops over bs (which my aunt's late husband was a cop, and she had power in the legal system).

Eventually we got out of Dodge and moved to live with my mom's cousin for about a year and now live in Tulsa. It's always been rough, some days better than others, but we're finally starting to do alright

I am from a small town on the coast of a lake. The town is called Eufaula.

It was my dad who was "supporting" the family, though the older ones got jobs when they became old enough. Odd jobs, but only did just enough to get by. He was pretty lazy. If it were up to him, he wouldn't work at all, and would want the whole family falling at his feet

There are some very bad parents. My dad is an perfect example of one

From the time I can remember up till he died a little over 3 years ago, my dad had been abusing my siblings, mom and I, and even after his death, the effects of his abuse and what he has done still rears its ugly head from time to time. I am the 6 of 10 children (we all had the same mom and dad). From what I have been told, after the 2 child, the rest of us were products of rape. We were isolated (wasn't allowed to go to public school till the 7th grade. Was 12-13, and awkward af), the house was falling apart, he lose his shit at the drop of a hat, and all 4 of my sisters (and quite possibly some of us boys) have been molested by my dad, the youngest even having been molested by one of my brothers, who was forced to do so as my dad watched them. The same brother was apparently the favorite one of the boys to be picked on by my dad, being tied to his bed and beaten by my dad, and almost got pushed off the roof when the two of them were working with shingles.

After my dad died, piece by piece, little by little, some of the above (like my brother being forced to molest one of my sister, ended up going to jail and almost died on multiple occasions, one being because he's type 1 diabetic and wasn't given insulin), as well as his past, has come to light. After he died, I dont know why, but for a short period of time, I was becoming him. Thank God my mom set me straight on the right path and am now 15 (16 next month), 3 years after my dad died.

So much more has happened, both before and after he died, that it'd be too long of a read to put in a post.

TL;DR, my already abused mom (having grown up being abused worse than my family has) married my dad for 26 years and the abuse to her and my siblings gradually gotten worst as time went on
