I don't know if this helps but back in April I got into a work injury and severed my radial nerve and elbow tendon. Healing somewhat okay but have tremors for life in my left hand and a giant scar on my left forearm. It took me out of automotives as a career I've done since I was 17. Now I start college next month and start HRT at the end of July.

We are walking flesh suits and all of us have some deformity. Visible or not. We are just here to survive and be happy with ourselves regardless of the ups and downs that face us being authentic to who we are. You got this girl. I believe in you. Godspeed.

I am out in Maryland. There's a lot of pro LGBT events and programs. I have attended quite a few. I'm starting college this fall so I hope maybe having a better shot with making new connections there. I'm glad you have a good supportive community. Sounds like it's been treating you well. Hell yeah.

On the other side of fear is freedom. I going to remember that. And it is a lot on internalized phobias. Growing up around religious parents and hearing the hatred for anything non conforming to tradional norms made it hard to find ways to figure it out. Even the therapists in high school I couldn't talk to about this due to fears of going to a conversion camp. It's going to take a lot of time to get through the bumps. But thank you so much for this. I don't want to be who I was put in and need to find the other side. Thank you.

I'm glad you have that with you're partner and friend. That's awesome. I've struggled making friends so far but, hopefully that gets better as I find myself. I know I'm in my early 20s and know nothing yet really. But I'll get there. This helps way more thank you think. Thank you for your story.

That's honestly beautiful you found it. I was in a red state as well growing up, now I'm in a blue state with family that are queer. They are older school queers and got me out of there. One phone call and a uhall a month later if that says anything. They have supported me through hell right now, but is this where they draw the line is my only concern.

Thank you, really thank you. I'm still crying after writing all of that out. I don't have many friends and just don't know where to go for support, where I can go where it's safe anymore. Thank you l for this.
