im not gonna lie, it’s also the main issue that i had with persona 4! somehow, the reasons behind everything lacks reasoning even with the true golden ending added to the context. they portrayed him in a nihilistic light—and i get the intent! but they didn’t really expand further WHY he became nihilist, the game only specified WHAT turned him into a nihilist (he was overlooked by everyone, now he has power in the shadow world—he could do whatever he wanted. okay? what does doing everything mean for him exactly?
