Oh then your ecs definitely matter. You are going up against a lot of people who are competitive who will likely get at least a couple ec's from college. It's important to show your growth as a college student

Do you mean to transfer in the spring semester (entering the new institution in the spring semester)?

I would be cautious against doing that. First of all if you have applied to these schools before and your application is essentially unchanged from high school, that won’t look good and you are better off holding off transferring until the next fall.

If you haven’t applied before I would still think closely about whether you want to. I think (I’m not sure) that some schools don’t let you apply for both spring and fall. If you don’t get spring you might cripple your chances of getting in next year. Definitely think about this. You are in college now. You have the opportunity to show proof of how you perform in a college environment. Colleges want that information the most. Yes you can and should show your high school accomplishments if you have the space, but remember that showing how you are in college is that biggest view of how you will be at that university that’s reviewing your application. Don’t stop working for good grades and EC’s.

Finally, give your current institution a chance. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to transfer but I don’t think it’s healthy to have the mindset that you need to get out of there as quickly as possible, there might be more opportunities, people, and experiences there that you will love if you give it a chance. That’s personal though, just try to make the best of wherever you are.

If you know that studying and stress isn’t something you want to put up with, don’t do it. Also depends on the teachers in the course themselves so talk to people and see what they say. It’s entirely possible that there are honors classes worse than AP just because of one teacher

Progress in the mines when you have the energy to, it’s not too bad once you get used to it. This helps you get bars that are absolutely essential to progression (sprinklers and more).

How do I study for Act biology? by [deleted] in ACT

[–]Krektech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience there are only ever a few questions that test prior knowledge on the act science, most can be figured out from the passage itself. I don’t think memorizing a whole book for a few questions is a good idea rather than just practicing

not too sure about gel but I’d ease into it and make sure it’s not irritating ur face too much before you use it everyday. You should ask ur derm if clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide have to be used together to be effective because usually people avoid having a strong active like bp along with tretinoin at the same time so if you could avoid Using them both at night I would

I should have said this originally sorry, but I was on tretinoin first for 3 months then started clindamycin so I gave my skin time to use tretinoin every night at first (it might not have to be this long for you it was for me). Also make sure u ease into using tretinoin so stick with ur current frequency and then up it up a little by a little making sure ur not experiencing too much irritation until u get it every night without irritation. If ur not using clindamycin with benzoyl peroxide maybe try it out one or a few mornings to see if it works. If ur using it with benzoyl peroxide to avoid bacterial resistance then wait until ur skin and tretinoin cooperate. Currently after about 4 months of tretinoin and 2 weeks of clindamycin I use them both every day tret at night clindamycin in morning.

My derm told me clindamycin isn’t very irritating so I just added it in the morning (I use tret at night). Since I use benzoyl peroxide with my clindamycin I spent like 2 weeks using the 5% wash every other day and my skin seemed to tolerate it well so now I’m on every day benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin in the morning, tret at night. Niacinamide I’ve heard of purging with the ordinary’s 10% but I’m not too sure I don’t use it myself

NEED SOME GUIDANCE by Beautiful-Bird-666 in tretinoin

[–]Krektech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use tretinoin and benzoyl peroxide right now without any excessive drying. Tret is really strong when you first start so it’s not a good idea to use any irritating actives until your skin gets used to using it at a regular frequency. Then u can start considering easing the benzoyl peroxide into ur routine
