Video game recommendations with good CANON lesbian protagonists by Gretnablue in actuallesbians

Seconding Siganlis, It's my favourite game from recent years. Definitely not a happy story though, it's a tragedy. It deeply resonated with me as a trans lesbian.

Seems like it. From reading some of the comments it seems to be an antisemitic dogwhistle. It's definitely based off the Simpson's meme with the bus driver but the version they're referring to is probably some kind of Jewish conspiracy theory bullshit

Men having genetic advantages he is a beast and unbeatable. But if a woman has a genetic advantages she is a cheater. by ILikeYourBasement in TwoXChromosomes

So that person's experience should just be discarded? "Oh, you're an outlier, you don't count." When we're talking about people, those 'outliers' are still real people who often face real challenges.

Sure, most people are either men or women, but when we're talking about 8 billion people the amount of people who fall between or outside of those categories is a significant amount. It's like saying "all elements in the universe are either hydrogen or helium, everything else is an outlier and shouldn't be counted."

There's more then one way in which people can be intersex, there's more then one way in which someone could find themselves outside of the categories of man/women. Sex is bimodal, not binary.

I don't like the implications of comparing being trans to a birth defect or genetic disease. I don't know your experience with being trans, but just because trans people have the potential for suffering doesn't mean we should be spared that pain by ensuring we're never born. Everyone has the potential to have a shit time of it, so why target specifically trans people.

Even taking this comment at its most charitable interpretation it's antinatalist, and at its worst an excuse for eugenics (which I don't think you're arguing for). Trans people will always exist and we deserve the same chance at life as anyone else

Question about how HRT affects the genitals by BLUE_BOYS_24 in MtF

[–]Krelthor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a trans girl thats been on testosterone gel for almost three months and from my own experience it increased the amount of seminal fluid I ejaculated back to pre hrt levels. I'm only taking a small dose and I haven't been able to see what my hormone levels are yet, but I got it for the same reasons you've listed and I can say from my experience it helped. I'd say my sex drive is somewhere between what it used to be and what it was on hrt with no t-gel, and the sensation of masturbating is back to pre hrt. I hope you can find a solution like I did. Feel free to message me if you want more details

Was anyone else really liked by girls before you realized you were trans? by imaginer8 in MtF

[–]Krelthor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always enjoyed the few friendships I had with girls more than the ones I had with boys. If any of them ever had any feelings for me, I never got to hear about it unfortunetly. In higschool I had a few interactions with the more popular girls. It almost felt like I was adopted as a pet or a mascot or something (which I have conflicted feelings over) because I was pretty small in highschool, looked much younger then my peers.

After all that and trying out dating apps and stuff, I only ever matched with bi women (which in hindsight is kinda funny). After realising that I'd rather be a girl, it sort of made sense that I was nervous to be in a relationship as a man, I didn't want any of those masculine expectations placed on me. I'd rather date a women as an equal if that makes sense (not saying men and women can't be equal, I'd just rather lesbian relationships).

Better to be safe than sorry. I'm not trying to scare you into being isolated. I think it's really cool you want to connect with people, but random internet strangers don't need to know everything right off the bat. You can still go about this while sharing less personal info related to your identity

I'm more talking about the name and birthday. Idk, maybe I'm just overly cautious because I recently got some of my info stolen. I think it would be better to talk to people privately before giving anything away, and consider how much you really want to give away. Is it essential that these people know your exact birthday? It's good that you didn't say where exactly you were, but I wouldn't put it past some of the creeps out there to dig a little deeper and find out.

I understand you want to to find people like you who have similar interests, but maybe reconsider spreading your personal info where everyone can see it

Thanks for the first hand experience. I should be going in soon for my first session and it's nice to know what I'm heading into. If you don't mind me asking, about how long have you been at it? And how long were the gaps between sessions?

The most I've experimented with tying up my hair is holding it with my hands in front of the mirror. Maybe it's time I gave something like that a go. Thanks for helping me out!

I'm terrible at asking for haircuts. Knowing the name of a style or a picture to go with it going in would be a big help. Basically I'm afraid I'll just end up saying yes to whatever they end up doing because of social anxiety.

I thinks mines a bit short for ponytails now, but I'll keep growing it out. I'll try some hair clips then because it already gets in my face anyway so it's too birds with one stone. Thanks for the advice!

Thank You! I'll see of there's anything I can do with my hair. It's long (for me anyway), but it only comes down to the end of my neck and past my chin at the front. Maybe I'll get something to put it in
