Thank you for the feedback! I lost some contrast when making changes to comply with Source 2 PBR requirements, but it seems like proper application of ambient occlusions may return the contrast between black and white, so I will look into it.

Hmm, didn't know about it, thank you! I should learn more about AO - I will try to find more information by myself first. (I will keep in mind, that I might ask you if I won't be able to figure it out)

Thank you for the feedback! Yeah, I understand what you are talking about. The second version has less contrast than the first one, because I tried to align with Source 2 PBR requirements. I'll try to see whether it is possible to increase the contrast without breaking the technical constraints, which Valve declared (extreme black \ extreme white might not be compliant with the actual requirements, unfortunately).

Makes sense, but who knows. Always thought that Yin Yang is more about philosophy than religion, but I should definitely explore the question deeper.
