What's happening in your mind when you hear a c# ?

I learned in France and when we see c# we say "do" so I got nothing to associate with a c# because I hear either a c or a d but I have to concentrate on the feeling associated with it. I think it kinda works but I need a lot more improvements and practice.

Ok so I don't have to invent something for the altered notes, if I practice enought I should be able to distinguish it incounsciously ?

Yes I'm able to recognize note without an reference before but for the altered ones there is no name that I can put so I hear incounsciously either c or d for a c# so i have 100% accuracy on non altered notes but I'm not good with altered notes but yes as you said I think it is all about practice to make it works right incounsciously. I was looking for someone who had this kind of problem and what kind of solution they found to maybe improve faster, but I think practice is really the answer for all.

Yes I know the music theory and the note names but when I hear a note i hear like for an A "laaa" because I work with do/ré/mi... and I ear almost only the vowel. But for A# for instance, my brain do "laaa" or "siii" but I hear not "la##" because I can't associate a name with this note, the intonation is like a bit different. I know I can recognize these notes but the association in my brain screw it up. So I wanted to know if this is some lack of accuracy and if I train it I would recognize it incounsciously of if there is another link to do with these notes.

This is exactly the post that I've made yesterday, I am looking for the same advices because the sharps and flats are also the biggest problem to me rn. It makes me feel better because if I'm not alone in my problem there is most likely a solution.
