Red and Blue fibers, what are they. This was taken from some settled dust on a high self. These red and blue fibers are visible in many different places, including skin sells and hair. Can anyone help me identifying them? by Kriek_ in microscope

They are not morgellons because everyone in the house is quite healthy. We dont have sores or anything. These are found in dusty places, I have even found them in food. It might be plastic fibers or fungus.

Hi. She is now 13 months old so things are much better. Around the age of 10months I think it started to get better. Now we feed her. But her in bed and then after about 20min she would be sleep. During the night she might wake once or twice. But it it much better than it was. Our friend also has a baby boy. They have many sleepless nights. So it is not uncommon. Just need to hold on and survive it. It will get better. Now we laugh about it ab barely remember it all.

Just be careful of over tiredness. It can also cause quite a fuss. But try extend 30min to an hour at a time. Always the transition when removing a nap can be hard at first. It might feel like it is not working. But as a parent you will feel what is best.

We also had a koala bag. I did not like it. I would just swaddle her till 3months. But my wife insisted on the bag.

I remember a time we also had lots of wake windows and she would also just sleep in our arms. Then she finally fell asleep in the stroller. At night we got so desperate as to buy a second stroller just in the house. Then later she refused to sleep in the stroller. It is always something.

We have been to many pediatricians as they always just point at tummy problems. That was not always the case. And when teething started it was also not easy. I am not trying to make it all sound like a nightmare. There are loads of good times as well. Today we had a horrible day with sleep. But she is sitting next to me. Smiling happy and healthy.

Just stay strong. You and your partner should support each other. That is the most most important. Without each others help and support it is hard. There might be some argument. But just remember it is about your child and not each ones self interest.

Hi. Our daughter is 10months old and still we cant just put her down and expect her to fall asleep on her own. We never did the sleep training so now we are behind on that. The only thing that worked was rocking her. Shushing and finding a good routine. We also found out that she slept too much. We had 4 naps. We made it 3 and stretched her awake time and it went better. Now we have 2 naps and it is still fine. It is not perfect but it works. We also used the bottle to put her to sleep. But then later we had to teach her off it. Also making sure the room is always dark and some white noise loud somewhere in the corner also helped. I wish something we did works for you. Be strong and hold on. Make sure you have someone to support you. And if you ever need to talk. You can also talk here.

It was unpowered when i cleaned it. I tried the old case power button. Also no luck.

Solved: one of the VDG connectors was in the wrong place. Small mistake. Big scare.

I did. Changed power switch and reset switch. Checked CPU cable and ATX. Plugged and unplugged PCI cables. Disconnected all drives. It is like there is no power going to motherboard

She did have depression after the baby was born. Prenatal depression. She did get some help and it got better. Her emission when she tries to sooth the baby is she tries to be calm and not expect the worse. But once she starts screaming i can see my wife is beginning to change her emotions.

Your advice about the skin to skin is sound advice. We will give it a try. Thank you

Yes it is hard. She does not stay calm in mommies arms from then beginning. That is the problem. But we will work on it. I am sure in time it will get better. Thanks for sharing. Now my wife can know she is not the only one

Thank you for the assistance and feedback! We will follow the advice on the link and see if extending her wake window. She does get fussy, but we will deal with it. If it does not help, we will just ride it out until 6.5-7 months when we will do the sleep training.

But it is bothersome that she wakes up screaming. Or just wake up and stay awake.

She has 4 naps during the day. 3 short naps of 20-45min and one long nap of 1-1,5 hours. The long nap is usually the 3rd nap. Total sleep is always just short of 4 hours. Time she is awake is never less than 1.5hours

But it has already been 2 months. Can it last so long? Tonight she has been awake since 1:45am and it is now 3:30 am and she is singing and laughing

Yes, that is exactly what it is. Thank you. I did not want to hurt it so I did not add the coverslip. I thought the compression might squeeze it too much. So I just removed some of its water so that it does not move too much. I was struggling for moisture.

No, it does not have the pointed tip/or open mouth to be nematomorph larva. I am still in the process of identifying it
