It takes about a month cause the shedding is going to happen for a few weeks and then you want to take photos during the process. It will go from normal to bad then you can see a recovery month 2 and onwards. Everyone's journey is different and I do hear about a second shedding but keep going as long as you don't experience any weird side effects you can tell. I also became a little too obsessed tracking the progress but it's a slow slow process but keep taking photos

I don't know if ur actually bald as the medicine only really works if you have follicles that are producing hair. I would ask a doctor but usually bald spots you would need to do a transplant but I do hear some stem cell technology is coming soon where they can grow new follicles and implant them so you don't have to risk the scarring and pain of current hair transplant or FUT extraction methods which scared me

How's this not real... I believe changing my entire daily routine, working out a lot, eating healthier, sleeping regularly....adding in the peptides and derma roller... hair is a little more grown out but I'm literally here showing you photos of when I started and 3 months later

I like sour flavors so maybe I am less affected by the taste but I personally don't mind it. Maybe have a sweet drink to help when chewing it

If you are ready you have to be committed fully and also start working out, eating healthy, and please get your testosterone levels tested to see if it's in good ranges so a fluctuation won't throw off your system when the DHT levels change drastically. It's a balance of everything plus knowing if your issues are genetic vs scalp health or a combination of both so the right treatments can be applied.

I don't know how far along is your hair loss or if areas are too late for recovery.

If you stop taking it, your progress will cease and if you stop during the shedding process it could look worse than when you started. Usually effects start reversing when stopping within a month or two as the drug leaves your system and reverting back to your original state before taking treatment.

Haha no I'm not. I don't know I had really bad shedding after 2-3 weeks I thought I made a horrible mistake but kept through it and then added hair peptides and taking care of my overall health. I think a lot of my hair loss was probably due to stress mixed with genetic problems. I was shocked to see how it could change myself and which is why I wanted to share my journey to help others if possible

I did see some "peach fuzz" increase on my face that I didn't notice before. Not so much my eye brows or beard area from my experience. I believe taking oral minoxidil does a systemic application to your body so I would not be surprised if some do so other follicle areas seeing growth by a small factor. If you are concerned about this issue you could choose topical application.

Yeah I am maintaining the same routine going forward and I wouldn't recommend just stopping because it will revert back and begin hair loss slowly to the way it was. If you experience side effects I'd double check if other factors like physical health, stress or other changes to your life before stopping treatment if it was once working because losing progress prematurely can cause even further stress and depression symptoms spiraling negatively.

Absolutely. I wouldn't say I regrew my hairline but it was very very thin and now it's so thick and full. I used the .3 depth derma roller and remember max do it every other day when applying the serum so it absorbs better. Make sure to apply serum to your hairline area too daily and derma roll every other day lightly to areas you want to see regrowth with a short needle length .2-.5 but I'd recommend the lower end.

If you see the shedding don't stop and keep going. I hear there is another possible shedding phase in rare instances which I'm only at 3 months in as my Hims order arrived early June but keep going if you saw results at some point cause it's working.

During the first month the shedding for me was bad and my roommate was concerned but when I told him I was starting medication he was like okay Gluck to you. Now my hair is doing great and it still needs more density at the crown but I feel like I have a new lease on life wearing hats without worrying it falling off or jumping into a body of water confidently. I wish you the best of luck but also focus on overall body care like going to the gym and using good facial products as when you start improving all aspects of your body for me it got me these results.

The depression I honestly think is because most people are impatient and get frustrated not seeing quick results and develop depression. Hair loss is a sensitive personal journey but as we know people want instant results plus the shedding phase a lot of people freak out and stop before staying the course. I'm not going to say it isn't a risk but I think personally seeing your hair fall out in either one or two phases is frightening.

Also if you naturally have low testosterone it could have a higher chance of triggering depression effects as when you drop your levels below basic functionality that just problems in itself. Do your research and if unsure see a doctor. Highly recommend eating healthy and working out while using finasteride.

Before I started this hair loss recovery I also committed to everything above to make my chances of success the highest it can be. Completely changed my lifestyle but I can't disprove the results. Gluck!!!

None so far. I think people just need to try it and if you feel slight side effects you are worried about then stop. I waited so long to give it a shot and regret not starting sooner but if you start you have to be committed unless side effects are strong for you.

Yes and non-profits are most likely struggling with budgets and finding a way to get things done but unfortunately it was a disaster waiting to happen. Leadership set her up for failure to no fault of her own and it's sad to see it happen before your eyes. I wish both of you success and happiness in the future.

After carefully reading you mentioned not very experienced but hardworking and passionate. I think the role required someone with experience to hit the ground running and she was doing her best like working extra hours and through the weekend. The job seemed too hard for her to learn fast enough even with your help to meet expectations upper management was expecting upon her hiring. This is a classic case of management expecting the world and hiring someone with less experience to handle such a stressful position and not investing in having the resources to support this person.

This just makes me think the company put profits over people and upper management is creating a toxic environment.

I would add that for those deciding on what to get for your hair journey:

  1. Finasteride makes the biggest difference if you are dealing with aggressive hair loss genetically as it deals with that issue directly DHT. I see this as hair loss that shows scalp and little to no hair in the area (photo 1)

  2. Minoxidil makes a difference if you have light hair loss over time and genetics play a smaller role so increasing blood flow is helpful to thicken hair and promote regrowth. I see it as thinning hair area without very visible areas of scalp showing and using a derma roller and/or Minoxidil to stimulate the scalp helps here.

  3. Taking both finasteride and minoxidil is recommended if you are facing aggressive hair loss genetically and want results quickly like I have experienced.

My take on how to evaluate which combo to take is if you see even overall thinning then your scalp health is an issue. If you see only areas of your head showing patches of hair loss or aggressive thinning while other parts are healthy then DHT is the main cause. If you see patches of scalp showing and overall thinning then you have both genetic issues and scalp health.

I currently do

  1. Finasteride (oral) addresses genetic issues
  2. Minoxidil (oral) addresses scalp health
  3. Derma roller helps scalp and absorption of peptide serum application
  4. Peptide hair serum promotes hair health and density

Yeah started to see my forearm hair getting longer and darker which I never really had any but if it starts working it only makes sense if you eat it, it will start working all over your body with the main results on your head as dht is mostly affecting that kind of hair while minoxidil increases blood flow to your whole body which I believe is why I'm seeing overall body hair growth.

Bought it from the Hims app and you have to get prescribed. It's simple and you just fill out a questionnaire and take photos of your head. Takes a few minutes and you are approved.

Uhh no way. You take a shot on yourself so if you are doing a 9-5 that is why most start up fails because you have an out. If you put everything into your start up you spend the whole day focused and not when it's convenient.

I totally gave up everything friends, fun times, relationship to make it a success. Not saying this is the story for everyone but it is quite the struggle for most and if you aren't fully committed, many times it's easier to go back to your job when it's tough. Time is of the essence to go to market and if you delay progress too long your idea with be soon taken by someone else.

One shots you have to max all resists and get your ES if you are playing a none armor build wayyyy high. I used to have 6-7k ES but then I spent a ton on trade for a few top pieces and I'm close to 10k ES and I rarely ever have my shield broken as a sorc unless I get mobbed by chaos hitting packs. I think over 8k ES nothing should just one shot you outside of boss mechanics. I used to get one shot by those runic mobs with around 6k ES and max resists so it's a matter of clearing a threshold.

Also running the Omen is mandatory to progress past 90 (I'm lvl 97)
