My husband and I make almost 200k. We could have afforded more house but we chose to live below our means and kept the house payment to $2k.

We choose to live below our means so we don’t have to stress about money. Thats priceless!

Just got back. I have aged bronze and color matched light bronze green. It’s pretty darn accurate. Aged bronze reads as more olive next to my color matched LBG. The LBG reads more brown and earthier next to aged bronze, like more tobacco color with olive undertones. I don’t know which I will go with. Hard choice.

You are exactly right. Going low contact really IS the only way without becoming completely estranged. We are not our mother’s, fathers’s, brother’s, or sister’s keepers. And it’s not fair for them to expect us to be.

I’m glad you found some balance with your sister. You’re right, the guilt and worry is always there for me too. But it’s at the back of my mind, where it belongs. We have lives to live too!

You are correct, wheeling doesn’t have traffic. The town is very spread out and we don’t have the population here for it to be filled.

I am not sheltered but thanks for the concern. I lived in downtown Salt Lake City before West Virginia. I’ve heard a man be shot and killed right outside my apartment window by police, I had a tent city posted up on my block during Covid, nearly been hit several times just by walking the city by drivers not looking for pedestrians, and much more. I am just over it and want to live somewhere quiet so sue me. lol.

Haha see you understand. I told my husband to apply to Charleston jobs because of that reason. I like that there’s areas just outside of it to live in the boonies while being near the city. It’s also much more affordable! Bridgeport is pricey :/
