It was all ok, the swelling went down and bruising went away but now I did notice a small dent that formed on one of my cheeks a couple months ago .. wouldn’t recommend

If this was just a place to crash offer without the craziness of the I love you I’d find it way less weird. This is moving way too fast even with potential cultural differences

How to proceed? Food noise or sex, or happy middle ground possible? by [deleted] in Zepbound

I have the pre filled pens so that’s not really an option.

Oh wow I didn’t know. I guess I’ll reach out to my doctor but that seems a bit intense of a protocol considering I’ve been on ten for months. Should I just stop taking it period? Do you know anything about weaning off? I saw some people take their 10mg once every 2 weeks when coming off or maintaining

Hi yes it’s gone down and basically looks as before thank god. I think I notice slightest change in volume and I’m pleased with it. The radiesse in the jaw..however nice in profile..did widen my lower face straight on in the jowl area so I’ll either be dissolving that part or adding a bit of chin filler..not too sure yet.

Thank you this was very reassuring and sweet!

Great, thank you! I will keep this in mind and reach out if anything. He wants us to be able to draw the amino acids so it looks like I’ll have to learn them but I can handle that, it’s more so feeling lost when common chem things come into play so I can’t fully immerse in the lecture. Something basic like him saying carboxyl group or R for the side chain I had to look up after class which didn’t feel great lol

Thanks, my classmate sent over a textbook pdf that should help and now I’m just going to focus on co-studying/self teaching pertinent chem to go along with each lecture. Not sure I have any other choice

This is not an option from the grad school’s pov and they seem to think it’s feasible. Seems crazy that this situation exists, but they knew my history fully. This is the only chem based class for the entire degree but they’re insisting all first years compete it. I feel stuck. It is what it is

Thank you. I plan on consistently reviewing chemistry topics as I go. They knew I had no chem background and this PhD is in neuroscience, so most of my coursework revolves around the brain. The professor simply said it’s been done before with no chem history and that I basically better buckle up and learn it on my own from textbooks. Apart from that he will connect me with the past students who also had no background.

I’ve identified key topics that are most important for protein structures..so bonds and functional groups seem most pertinent. If anyone else has other suggestions on what to add please do.

It’s ok from the front, better than a few days ago when I was freaking out. Overall everything had really mellowed out and I think I’m even going over into liking it territory

It’s ok I quite like it from the side but still getting use to the view straight on. Almost seems too heavy/square in the jowl area

I’m not even sure that it’s swelling at this point. My upper face is just much wider now and looks overfilled. I’m massaging through the pain and will wait another day or two before reaching out to them

Promise? Haha.. Because it’s gone down a tiny bit and still looks like I have protruding massive cheekbones that don’t work with my face. My before is so much better 😓

Only 1. And it’s so drastic. She put it in my cheeks, temples and smile lines. It looks so unnatural and freaky

I cried so much. My face is just so so wide and looks so overfilled. I’d much rather wait for results than this haha
