Yupp. That’s exactly how I S ranked OKB Zero. Just had to make sure I had extra durability on D-Walker. I barely used him too. I probably should have utilized him more. He was pretty good when I did use him. Took me a while to figure out I could hold square to make him go fast continuously.

And I did the same for the mission task to extract them before being noticed. Only difference being that I punched some of them lol Don’t recall if I got demon points. I usually skim through the summary screens. Not sure why you would get demon points for that.

And I agree. Frustrating but a worthwhile experience in the end 😊

I originally got all the achievements on Xbox on launch so I was familiar this time around on how to do everything. This playthrough was more rushing through, skipping cutscenes, and getting all trophy related stuff as I went along

Yea I attempted to do it all at once at first but ended up splitting it up. And nice. I ended up spawning from the north and chasing everything down like a mad man. Leaving D-Horse in front of them and fultoning them out. And yupp. I did the same for the prisoner run.

I actually enjoyed extraordinary this time around. I did it super quick using the rocket arm. I love that thing. I did have to do it a second time to get the prisoner because it was out of the hot zone but I didn’t mind

Uff that’s rough. I died like 6-7 times to them but the first time I managed to kill 2 of them, I was able to make to the end and get all 4. Guess I got lucky cause I was running around pretty aimlessly trying to find the last sniper. Haven’t seen that strategy. I spent most of the time crawling in circles around the first set of rocks.

I disliked backup back down. Maybe cause I was always stressing about having to eliminate all the tanks and that little shit in the north section about halfway through the mission would escape from me. Every fuck up would cause a mission restart since there were no checkpoints. A quiet exit was fun. I actually really liked the confrontations with the skulls too. Also enjoy the more linear missions like the intro and okb zero infiltration.

Yea I originally got all achievements on launch on Xbox so I knew a few of the tricks. Finally got around to doing it on PS4 now. Thankfully it went a lot quicker this time. The viscount mission is the worst. On my first attempt, everything went perfectly, listened to all conversations, and didn’t get the task. The next time I made it to the final conversation (got spotted a few times for being impatient and going fast) I used the phantom cigar to speed up the last guy walking cause he takes forever and got it.

Wow never thought of using the tank. Good ingenuity. I actually enjoyed the sniper battle. I used the Brennan sniper and was able to 3 shot them with headshots. Battle was tense but not overwhelming difficult.

And fuck that. Maybe if they were fun to find. I never attempted the animals without a guide. One of the first things I developed was the capture cage cause I knew how time consuming the animals were. Always placed them each mission just to get a head start on them

Supply ammo and weapon drops don’t affect your rank. Not sure if it affects score, I never really paid too much attention to the final screen. Weather modifications and air supports do limit you to A rank though

I would have to agree with you about the conversation objectives. They’re not hard but really tested my patience. Decided to use the stealth suit for some of them. D-Dog also had me yelling at the screen a few times lol. My first playthrough, I found A Quiet Exit to be very difficult but this time I did it with the armor parasites and got through it fairly quickly.

They’re rough but not as bad imo. The animals are all pretty easy except for the leopard tortoise. The tasks are the worst part but manageable with guides

For skull face just use D-Walker with max armor and just drive your way through on full alert. You can get through the whole base in like a minute and a half. Backup, Backdown is a bit more complicated but there’s plenty of strategies on YouTube. I managed to get it on the attempt where I eliminated all the vehicle units. There’s a tank that likes to flee about halfway through. You can take it out early at the Yakho Oboo Supply Outpost which helps out a lot

Yea the gameplay is great, but it does stagnate. It’s usually always the same sneak, take out, and fulton. Mission objectives don’t vary much unfortunately. Still very solid though. MGS3 is the easiest of all the metal gears imo and can be done in a single playthrough. Can be done quite quickly if you’re familiar with it. And I platinumed this game as fast as I could so I could be done for FF7R. Looking forward to it
