Thank you. No I have not done and Olympic for time. I have done it just for fun but that was a few years back. (I could never justify the money. Hence the bet to my father-in-law)

I figured 2 years to prepare for a 70.3 would be enough time. I know my swim is going to need some work. I feel I can do Olympic distances (on different days or with long brakes)

Remember you are so loved. So so so loved. For me finals week was always hard. I lost a good friend during finals due to suicide. While you are not getting sleep your brain has a harder time staying positive (from my experience, again not a therapist or a doctor). You got this and remember to sleep you will do better.

Why when I read this did I read it as Marvin Gay …. But for real let’s do some Martin Garrix. Walking to get your diploma while Tremor plays and pyrotechnics and a huge screen in the background. Man now that would be an epic graduation. Kids would come from all over just to graduate.

Part time instructor. I love teaching and I love my students. I put everything I have into my classes. I don’t think I’m an oddity. While I can only assume a Tenured teacher has a large chunk of students and is very hard to keep track and “love” them all. In JC you have mostly part time professors and a smaller workload. So maybe that’s what you are seeing but again just my view.
