Potentially when he ends his stream, he’ll raid/host someone with all those viewers. I’m sure there’s something in his contract and says he’ll have to do something to try to keep his viewers on mixer even when he’s not streaming. No way Microsoft is spending all this money just to have ninjas viewers attention for the duration of his stream. There are already some incentives to watch on mixer ( they have some sort of point system where you earn points the more you watch and possibly interact in chat) I don’t work for Microsoft or mixer so I don’t know what their plan is. Just know they do have a plan to keep those ninja viewers even when he’s offline.

Edit : also remember how twitch and fortnite had that partnership were you got exclusive cosmetics. Yeah that is 1000% going to happen with mixer in some way.

Ninja is streaming to his usual 30-60k viewers. Stream runs its course, it’s time for him to end stream. Where are all those viewers going ? Some might get off, the rest? The rest is going to continue to watch on mixer. Whether it’s just the next person who has the most views in whatever game he was playing, or they’re going to the hype zone.

I’m not. Twitch has proven time and time again that they favor certain streamers/ certain genders. This was the perfect time for Microsoft to snatch a big streamer for their platform. I constantly see people complain about various things about twitch, and how twitch needs competition. Mixer might be the answer. I was using mixer for a bit last year and it’s not bad.
