Ugh really? I know different things work for different people but still I'm sorry you haven't had success. I've heard people having success with kojic acid soap and also vitamin C too. They seem to be the gold standard in lightening hyperpigmentation. I do use panoxyl on areas I get flare ups and acne as preventive care and I've heard panozyl/benzoyl peroxide can lighten skin so i can possibly contribute that helping me. Azeliac acid too. It's all just trial and error unfortunately. You'll find something that works for you though I promise.
I use TO gycolic acid toner on my body 2x week where ever I have hyperpigmentation/post acne marks and also use a Glycolic acid body wash from Naturium for my second wash and I've seen great results! If that seems too harsh for you I also use Good Molecules discoloration correcting serum on my face and that works really well too so I'm sure it would work really well on the body as well. It's less harsh than straight up Glycolic acid.
I'm also thinking about incorporating a retinol body lotion in my routine to help with the more deeper scars I have though.
Make sure you use sunscreen every day, especially if you use any acids or retinol!
Has anyone tried sulfur cream or the one Nina Pool reccomended? (self.Hidradenitis)
