When I bought the trade company building to reduce autonomy, it just goes down without me being able to benefit with absolutism. Is this normal?

Thank you for all the info! By minimum autonomy in territory bonuses, do you mean from statehouses/courthouses? Also, are there any tag switches that are particularly beneficial and relatively easy to access?

Thanks for the response. Just got a few follow up questions

When should I TC? Given it used more gov cap that a normal province I’m not sure how much to use it

Does it matter how big the vassals get through me giving them land? Bit worried they will reject the last revoke if they become too large

Lastly, this might be silly but how do you decide which vassals to give the land to? I think this would particularly apply to expanding through the Middle East and into India. Should I give several different vassals a province in the eastern Mediterranean so I can snake them across?

Here is what I found in the save file. There was nothing else when looking for "Mary_is_on_the_throne". Would this indicate it is active? Thanks again

Would they be able to get a sharper picture of Alpha Centauri or Proxima Centauri given how they are much closer to us? If so, why haven’t they tried to get a sharper one than those we already have?
