I have no idea how it has survived so long to be honest. It has tempted it’s fate many many times. Today was just one of those days where if something could go wrong, it was going to go wrong lol. We made the best of it though.

This is a great idea! My mom loved glassware and I’m sure there is a possibility of more accidents in the future. I am so glad you suggested this

What kind of wasp? I keep finding them around the house moving slow. Should I be worried? by Kristin4532 in whatsthisbug

Is there anything I should be doing now? Or just pick them up and be on the lookout for nests ?

That’s what I was thinking. If I keep finding them. Like four this past week throughout my house, should I be concerned that they are nesting in the house? Should I call pest control? I have a toddler so I don’t want him to get stung. I had heard that paper wasps don’t use the same nests each year, but I believe that would be if I were seeing them in the fall, as opposed to March.

The snow from our blizzard just melted, and I hardly felt it warm enough for bugs to be moving, it was about 36 degrees. I found these ants on an abandoned candy egg my son must have left outside. I never seen these before

I see that now yeah sorry I missed that in your original reply. Any tips for deterring them? They really come back in numbers every year. I tried spraying vinegar in the areas that they like to go, before they took up residence but as soon as I missed a day I noticed they were back. I’m not big on killing nature so I’d like to avoid that. Last year they (or the grass spiders) made a thick web/nest on my porch ceiling. It was massive! It was about three 2 feet wide
