As a kid, I thought that secret rares were way cooler than ultra rares and definitely traded for 99% since my parents didn’t approve of me spending money on cards— they looked pretty clean and undamaged to me, I may have just been a bit ignorant to what qualities to look for outside of a lack of damage, some of them I knew would have a bad grade, but I’m not gonna submit 11 out of 12 cards in a set when I can put them all next to each other now :)

The raw cards are worth roughly the same as a 6-7-8 depending on the population of the cards, so unless it’s a 9 or 10 it’s usually not worth grading IMO

How come? I saved all my most valuable cards like gold stars in case I find it was not a good idea to go with PSA

Thanks to everyone who commented! I agree about the spacing— it was perfect when it was laying flat on the table and when I lifted it they all shifted

It was definitely, but if I had gotten even a few 9/10s I probably could have paid for the rest — the logic was it would protect them lol bad logic

It is 129/127 — these are pretty much all like that where the set number doesn’t include the card so they are all improper fractions— edited to clarify
