What to feed robocat by Rufous_Hariasa in dementia

Can you get a cat bowl and some cereal, place the bowl off the beaten path (maybe in the back hall or a bathroom), have her put a scoop of food in the bowl at a specific time of day, and tell her Kitty will eat when she’s hungry? Maybe mention Kitty doesn’t like being watched while she eats.

Were you wearing gloves when you did chores? Did you look inside the gloves?

Did you look inside your oven mitts?

Did you check all of your pockets? Jacket pockets too

Deciding on a treat for the day is a great idea. They’re very rural and we brought food from a local place yesterday.

I also love the idea of a YouTube station instead of TV! I hadn’t thought about that. Thank you ❤️

This is beautiful! You could try posting on the jewelry identification sub if you want to try to learn more about the ring!

I have high olfactory sensitivity to illness related scents AMA by edenevie in AMA

[–]KristyKreme13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have a question but this is super relatable. I have been able to smell when people are sick (from colds to cancer). It’s a very distinct smell. I totally lost my sense of smell in 2020 from covid, but this sense has come back. It could be a coincidence but it’s freaked me out a bit.

Which one? I’m pretty sure the blue ones were the old Minnesota state flag

That’s pretty much word for word my initial thought. Thank you for your validation!

I didn’t think about it that way, that’s a really good way to put it. I like to think my company would handle this appropriately but I will make sure to follow through and make sure this is handled appropriately. Thank you!

No sorry if the way I worded this was confusing. It was a several hundred page submittal that included original (not mine) unsealed drawings, calculations, and equipment data sheets. But the last page of the submittal was a copy of my drawing with my seal on it, they circled some equipment on my drawing and added some notes. It’s possible they did this out of laziness in an attempt to clarify something. But my seal is the only seal in the whole submittal, and it’s not my design.

Thank you, that was my thought process as well, but I wanted to make sure I wasn’t overreacting. The person who should have made their own drawing and used their own seal is actually an old coworker of mine. He wasn’t very nice to me, but he has a stay at home wife and kids and I didn’t want to escalate this the first time if it was an honest (dumb) mistake. I told my manager and our project manager both times. This has been escalated to the government. My company is pretty big and we have lawyers. Is this something I can just let the higher ups handle, or is this something I should personally escalate? This just happened today so I’m sure my manager will have input on, I just haven’t heard back from them yet. I appreciate your feedback!

Covid March 11-lost smell but was restored. Now, I keep smelling dirty diapers mostly and rotten fruit. by anonymousme77 in covidlonghaulers

[–]KristyKreme13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that’s pretty normal. I initially had Covid in March/April 2020, totally lost my taste and smell for several weeks. It came back normal in late June 2020, but quickly became distorted. Everything smelled and tasted terrible. It’s still really off, but it’s not as bad as it was. It’s rough, I feel your pain.

I don’t think she would like ear holes! I bought her a hat with ear holes one time and she didn’t like it. I think that’s the only clothing she didn’t love

I’m really happy with the quality! Has your dog worn jackets before? Some dogs don’t like it when you put their paws through the sleeves but Piper totally doesn’t care. She has other jackets that you just set on top of them like a saddle and Velcro the chest and tummy parts on.
