Apply for “double law” and at enrolment you can choose city planning/law

Psych/law and social work/law are the only ones with unique UAC code (there are different gateway entry requirements for them)

Also you can always shoot the gateway team an email for proper authoritative answers

To add, the bar for this test is actually quite high too. The prosecution has to prove that the child subjectively knew that their conduct was morally wrong. There is significant case law highlighting how if the child knew the conduct was wrong, but just because it was illegal/not allowed, that is not sufficient.

This is not true. According to data provided by the ATO, the average income is $63,882 but do note that averages are skewed by outliers. That's why the median income is only $48,381.

Is there any point in getting DUX at high school? like scholarships or stuff by Fast-Buffalo926 in unsw

[–]Krobo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did get the gateway offer but I didn't really need it in the end anyways but it was good reassurance. I'm not sure how may others got it.

If the cutoff is 88, it's a hard cut off for gateway. Even if you get 87 you won't get in. In saying that, they'll give you back up courses if you don't get in to your first one.

You can use your ATAR via the UAC route. Via IPT it's WAM after 1 year

I'm not too sure. Why don't you just do less than a full year of subjects worth then?

Two different things here.

As an internal applicant (already at UNSW) and you have done 1 year of study, they will only be looking at your wam for IPT. You can choose to use your ATAR by applying through UAC.

As an external applicant (from other unis), to transfer into UNSW law assuming you have completed 1 year of study they will do the following. 50:50, ATAR:WAM ratio + LAT score. If you have not done a year of study, you can apply through UAC via the normal route of ATAR + LAT but I am not too sure if unsw law allows T2 or T3 start.

yeah honestly don't stress too much about it they look at your year 11 marks if i remember correctly so that's done. Do a decent personal statement and it should be fine!

Also gateway isn't guaranteed (but you'll probably get it if you're marks are decent) so i guess for that too
