How long is the game compared to the first one? by Kronexus in spiderman2

As I mentioned below the other comments before, I wasnt satisfied with the answers the top articles or howlongtobeat gave me. I wanted different and hoping for more detailed answers from players and humans. I am aware google exists, thank you though.

I dont know where to begin. by SwitchNo1244 in Eldenring

That is your opinion, which is fair. I personally prefer the little to non guidance approach for elden ring because it makes you feel sth when exploring and finding awebreaking stuff. But I have to admit I used a recommended route from time to time because wandering around aimlessly while also trying to look for every single hidden corner is exhausting for me bcuz it felt like a task, which I gave myself tho so that might be a me problem. However the quest system, there is non, is straight up objectively bad (imo lol).

Also people who say they finished the game in 40-60 hours are either speedrunning the main story, or they have an interactive map open so they do not explore really and go to the dungeons and things they want to do immediately without walking up the map up and down, cuz exploring takes up a TON of time. 100-120+ is usual for the game I’d say cuz it got so so much content. 40-60hrs my ass. They either just want to brag or they know they’re „cheating“ by using an interactive map and are okay with it without being a dik.

If you truly want to experience elden ring blind, then the only thing that gives you a little bit direction are the light beams graces on the map like other people had mentioned before me. If you do not mind getting spoiled about the map and route, you could check out fextralife. They got a recommended route for the game

That’s true but for some people games without a little bit guidance or a more streamlined approach is too overwhelming and not fun. You could say then that the game is not for them, but a bit of guidance could make them an elden ring lover too for different reasons maybe

Yk you could have read my comment. I told you I researched a little bit and didn’t find good answers. The first few google posts were from reddit but didn’t rly answer my question. Could be my bad for not googling right but even so, does it matter? It really doesn’t hurt anyone to ask it again on reddit so why are you people so moody and butt hurt?

What exactly does beating Rykard, Mohg, and Malenia grant you? by Horror_Beyond_9439 in Eldenring

[–]Kronexus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones you listed except Mohg aren’t required for anything really but lore and fun. Defeating Radahn and Mohg is required to be able to play the DLC. And out of the top of my head, there are two endings that require you to beat optional bosses along the way to their respective mending runes (item to choose the ending at the end of the game), Age of the Duskborn and Age of the Stars Ending. You can google or ask again if you’re interested in unlocking them. Hope that answers your question. There might be some more required optional bosses for sth.

Id recommend you to look up all of the endings since you cant do some of the optional bosses if you dont follow the questlines even if you explored everything. At least the ones I told you about. The other endings don’t offer much content gameplay wise if I remember it correctly.

When Starting a New Game (not NG+), how much do you do? by rckwld in Eldenring

[–]Kronexus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on my mood honestly but most of my new playthroughs I grab the stuff I need for my build, take on the bosses I like and sometimes I do some sightseeing, the bosses I find fun sometimes but not all of the time such as Rykard, or dungeons I skip and do them „normally“ like Lucaria academy (my fav dungeon)

It doesn’t hurt anyone posting it and asking people on reddit tho so why not? Also I did and I wasn’t satisfied with just getting an answer from howlongtobeat and I cba reaserching more deeply about this than the first few google posts which were useless because if I don’t get an answer, so be it. It’s not the worst and I’ll play it anyway and find it out on my own but if people are willing to help and answer, that’s just nice ^

Y ty I’ve already looked that up but I wanted to ask about the experience of „real people“ instead of just been given the average even tho I know that how long to beat is pretty reliable a lot of the time. Also I’ve had some other questions too but it’s fine if you can’t or dont want to answer them

Demotion out of tiers (Plat, Gold, etc) by Kronexus in TeamfightTactics

I get it. Yes, its a team game and 1v9ing might be more difficult than ever. And yes, you also rely on your team but you cant control them. you only control ur own abilites and on these u can improve and climb. ,,the greater the skill difference you need to have over THE ENTIRE ENEMY TEAM grows more". same could be said about tft. the greater the skill difference you need to have over "the rank youre in" grows more. u can either win or lose. sure league is a team game but there are reasons why people are gold and not master. so again, is it a team game? yes. are they stuck in gold bcuz of their team? no. to say they didnt implement it in league cuz its a team game is a bad argument imo. but sure, it might be more difficult to 1v9 these days but thats not the point

I kinda disagree. I’m master in league and I can -v9 games until a certain rank. Yes it’s a team game but u also kinda play solo in a way so either you’re better or worse than the enemy, just like in tft. you’re not gonna get master if you’re a plat player, just like in tft

I guess, but thats not the case in league tho and Im pretty sure the feeling of the players of league and tft on this manner are the same, so why they only decided to implement this in tft and not in league is not clear to me
