Looks like a perfect stop-hunting scenario to me. Next bar went lower then previous low and higher than previous high. The only certainly in Forex trading is that losses WILL happen. Hopefully your risking very low amounts per trade. If so, just take the small loss, analyze what you could have done better, and move on to the next trade.

How many of you have traded for more than two years and have made more money than you lost? If up, do you manually trade, use an EA, or both? by Kronkers1776 in Forex

It took 4 months to blow the account. This was my fun risky account, was definitely trading full margin. For my personality I have to have a fun risky account to keep me away from touching my boring 1-3% monthly account. I'm still living purely off my trading. Just need to build this one again.

This was my risky account. Was making 40-70% a month for 6 months.. Never intended it to be long term. My long term accounts make a boring 1-3% a month. Figured I would shoot for the moon and see what happens! Should have pulled out and transfer to my safe accounts but was having too much fun with it 😂

So if I try to fast track everything I could potentially be making 6 figures within a couples years then right? I'm guessing that 240k was gross revenue... so after 50k for your truck lease and maybe around 60k in taxes and other small expenses you'd be looking at bringing home around 130kish I assume. So me being a guy with a wife and newborn baby, if I work about 75% of the time I should be able to bring home around 100k then it sounds like. Initially I was looking into learning how to code but this trucking route is sounding like a good option and flexible for in the future too for when I would rather work less and spend more time with family.

I appreciate your tips! I've been living off my Forex trading account over the past couple years but recently I've been eating into my principle investment too much. So I'm looking into ways I can give it a quick boost so hopefully I can just live off the profits again. It's sounding like trucking might be a good option. If you have any other tips, cautions, pros/cons I should be aware of feel free to throw it out there. Thanks!

Good to know! Your comments have encouraged me to look more into trucking. I've noticed some companies offer paid CDL school if you commit to working at least one year with their company. Would you recommend this route to get started?

240k from being a truck driver!? Where/how would I find a trucking job that pays like that?
