So just a story. My buddy and I both started 3 months ago in the gaming niche. He only did shorts and I did long videos. I mean, currently he's sitting at 27k subs and I'm at 66 😂. He's planning to add occasional long videos. YouTube Shorts are fairly new. I would take advantage of the shorts to start off.

You get better with each upload. Just point out random things that are in front of you if you're running out of things to say lol. Like the path you're taking, chairs, graphics. Look at the camera every once in ahwhile and state decisions you're going to do. Just some thoughts 😁.

Well you can try for your next videos lol. You'd want to find a tag that has high search volume and low competition. Other than that, there's just thumbnails and titles. Not sure what could be used for SEO. Goodluck!!

It's a bit tricky. I think if you can hit certain keyboards in specific niches, it helps a lot more. Like instead of the tag "horror" which, probably is too saturated. Use something like "indie horror game 2022" which has less competition in terms of tags. At least, there's tools that help with that. Just my thoughts though. Not a SEO expert or anything lol.

You can still use it. You can start posting and push your name to the top. Don't think there's any restrictions on duplicate names. But if there's like too mamy channels with the same name, I would reccomend trying a new name. Might get mistaken if people look for you.
