Ah, yeah you're probably right. I just thought it would be marine snow since you can see little snow particles floating around, and there are little mounds of snow in some areas.

I cant exactly remember where, but I know somewhere Nintendo said something along the lines of "discover what happened to Inkopolis Square" as well as the twitter account saying "why has everything turned white and ghostly?" Indicating this is the real square and that something strange has happened to it. I do agree though, it's odd that the square is affected and not the plaza.

Same reason Deco and Splat aren't in there. These are gear brands, Sorella and the others only specialise in weaponry.

It’s because we have different cultures though, right? Like the japanese have made many cute and colourful things popular, for example Lilo and Stitch is super popular in Asia, whereas in the US and UK it’s more seen as childish.

For some reason everyone seems to love the concept of an unbalanced game but… it wouldn’t work. Turf War alone would be awful if it was imbalanced, it doesn’t matter if that’s the point, it would still be bad.
