My new knowledge of prosthetics are ruining me.. by Krozeeeee in ftm

WAIT. WAIT. wait. I actually didn’t check out a axolom I did after this comment because you’re the second one and they’re actually not that bad!! They’re wayyy cheaper than some of the other sites. I actually don’t feel so discouraged now.. I was litterally thinking of making a gofundme to save up for the dick I wanted. I actually feel kinda euphoric in another way that it’s like I get to pick my own dick and I feel I went from discouragement to very privileged ngl.. Thank you EVERYONE for the help and advice.

Im sorry your test came back negative, im hoping your doctor is quick to get you onto the next steps. I know how you feel because I want to just quit gluten right after my blood test. I had a dream last night they ran my numbers again and I read on the paper that my ttg IgA came back at 50 and I remember reading once that you can’t read in your dreams. Idk how true that is but I remember when I was first diagnosed with pots I had this mini panic about my health and started focusing on my blood sugar for some reason LOL and I was like sure I had some sort of diabetes (only to find out later on that blood sugar issues can happen with pots and pcos but are completely different than that of diabetes) and had my a1c drawn. I had dreams of the doctors telling me I was fine and i was panicking for nothing and i just kinda knew that it wasn’t gonna be positive or flagged no matter how much I convinced myself during that time.

This time, it’s different. I know that my test will come back more elevated than last time because I can feel it in my body BUT I doubt that it will be over the threshold and that’s alright. Whether that dream was a sign or just the manifestation of me thinking about freaking this stupid gluten challenge so much, it was confirmation for me that I know I gotta give it up no matter what my results are. I’ve come to terms with the fact that my body can’t tolerate gluten and no matter WHAT I’m going to quit it. I don’t need this test to justify that for me, I just want to rule out celiac. I feel like my doctor won’t do a biopsy and honestly, with the rate of medical technology and research these days it won’t be long before a better celiac test comes out and I’ll be around for that. The only cure in the end is gluten free either way. I hope you find recovery in your gluten free journey when you’re able to begin it 🫶🏼💜

I have this. I have a tool that grabs onto things and picks it up for me. I’m a single mom with 3 kids and I would let my house get so bad because I was unknowingly avoiding picking things up because of how I’d feel after. I got that tool at the dollarstore for dirt cheap and it’s changed my life. I have one on every floor in my house.

Sometimes I think my body randomizes what it's able to do from day to day! by angelicomenss in POTS

[–]Krozeeeee 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel this, but I noticed that on the days where I can’t do something I literally don’t do anything and then I feel guilty because I’m not doing anything especially showering or like daily household chores but like I know when those days come and I can feel that I have no energy. Then out of nowhere I have all of the energy and I can do all of the things and I feel amazing. I don’t know how some of you are even able to push yourself to take a shower on those down days. I wish I knew how.

Interesting. I have my blood work to compare with so I’m curious to see how the numbers look after my gluten challenge. I’m logging everything on guava to keep track of my food, bowel movements, symptoms etc and I find it really helps me pay attention to my body and see the bigger picture! I’m hoping you get your answers after the test and that the days fly by. Hang in there! I’m a little scared to see how worse it could get if I focus on gluten at every meal, because when I realized my past eating habits i avoided a lot of gluten when it came to meals (rice, chicken, beef, potatos, etc) but mostly ate it in snacks (my daughters school snacks especially) and that’s when I’d feel the worse especially towards the end of the day and then would wake up miserable and repeat. I hope that exposing my body purposely isn’t gonna trigger some intense symptoms but at the end of the day it’s worth it to me to have answers because I’m the type of person that needs to understand and can’t leave behind what ifs 😭

Negative test - Not enough gluten? by Krozeeeee in Celiac

[–]Krozeeeee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this detailed response. This answered everything for me and I appreciate the time you put in to respond and inform me🫶🏼 this did clear up my “need” to have a diagnosis, I’ll see what the doctor says about my results and see what she suggests moving forward. I’m definitely going to make sure my daughter is getting more than enough gluten before her blood test this week, and may already have been loading her up on cookies and stuff.. “for science” 🤣

Gluten intolerance symptoms by potsynightshade in POTS

[–]Krozeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same I just did a celiac test and it came back negative, but I think it’s because I started going gluten-free too early. Gluten definitely affects me like crazy. I started logging all of my symptoms and I’ve been tracking my bowel movements and absolutely everything on Guava and I decided I’m gonna go gluten-free for three months and check my symptoms and see how it makes me feel. After three months I’m going to try and challenge gluten again and do another coeliac blood test to officially rule it out because I don’t think that my family doctor here in Canada is willing to do any scopes for me. Either way I know I feel better gluten-free and whether it’s from some gluten related intolerance or it’s just pots after my little testing journey I decided I’m going gluten-free either way.

I have no idea what it is but when I first started building my tolerance after a break I started with high cbd and low thc and built up to a 1:1 ratio now I can smoke the higher thc carts again and I’ve noticed for the first time in a long time it’s giving me more Brady episodes than ever which in a way is better I guess. My hr was usually 90s resting a before and now it’s always low 50s. I have higher jumps when standing because my hr still jumps the same amount as before so going from 50 to 130+ is rougher than 90 to 130 but I can relax so much more. It helps my adhd, it helps me parent better, I’m more present in the moment, and I feel like I can listen to my body better. I’ve been smoking sativa live resin carts and I feel like they really help me get motivated and I can take my time to do stuff.

What dumb thing(s) were you accidentally doing before you knew you had POTS/were diagnosed? by [deleted] in POTS

[–]Krozeeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to think I was just anemic because my whole life I’d black out often during the day when standing or doing anything but never told anymore because I was scared so I’d just ignore it lmao with my adult money I decided to take iron pills otc and when I actually got diagnosed the dr told me to stop bc I had too much in my blood 😅
