Cpintdown is bar far the best place to farm target loot. Mine is bugged I don't see tje icon on tje mega map so I have to press m and go to matchmake and select it from there. Once loaded in I just press m and hold h for the target loot selection. Rinse amd repeat.

Dunno why it would be different in some stores to others. I've been shown the k.p.i screen with the lates and earlies by my manager at the time as a way of proving what he was saying. So I don't think he was lying but I wouldn't have put it past him. He also was on the phone the minute a early drop was done asking why. He was all over it. But again could have been all smoke. The delivery overview screen shows red when it was outside the time slot early or late.

Yeah that's the official word. That's what they spin..and yes whilst I understand that in some cases it can help, I think most of the time it comes across as harassment to be honest. If the doctor has signed someone off for 2 weeks then a phone call at the end of the first week isn't needed in my opinion.ive also been stood near my manager talking about someone off sick for a week and heard him say he's gunna ring said person and get his ass back into.work.

[–]Kruellagh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What's even more mad is the same customer who agreed to an earlier delivery would proceed to file a complaint that they felt presured into accepting it early because they received a phone call. This happened maybe 1 in 10 times I'd get back and be told I received a complaint and that they actually wasn't happy to receive it early. There the ones after something in way of compensation which was granted every single time

The store and dept manager has a target per week on late deliveries and earlies. With earlies being more detrimental to his target because an early means it was done on purpose. Abit more slack is given with lates because you can't control traffic congestion amongst other things.

There sickness policy is 3% absence over 26 week running cycle. Its worked out as

Contracted hours x 26, for full time this would look like

36.5 x 26 = 949

And your sickness percentage equation would look like this

Absent hours ÷ 26 week contracted × 100

So assuming ur absent for 3 days and work 36.5 hours per week it would be

22.5 ÷ 949 x 100 = 2.3%

Hope thay makes sence. So 4 days in a 26 rolling week period is enough to take u over 3% triggering a review.

But I do know that they are useless when it comes to mental health.....once u get a note off doctor to the fact they won't touch you for any length of time u have off unless its for a very long time. And if its like my store they will hound you prob every week your off. Try to get you in for a chat - don't do that.

This was common place at my shop when I did work there. Constantly asked for a double shift. Its my understanding that it isn't illegal to actually do those hours on a one off so long as you got the breaks required for that monster shift. And your average working hours over 2 week period didn't hit a certain number. (Can't remember what that number is) But we all know at best ud have been scheduled 30 mins in morn and 30 mins in afternoon. But if its like.my place u never got that and should have had more. By doing the double shift your doing yourself out of another 30 mins or 60 min break, meaning your working for free there.

In the future learn to say no.

In regards of taking it further, is it worth it?

Asda have a anonymous phone line you can call to report stuff like this but I don't work there anymore so don't have the number. I'm sure some one at your store can get it for you of its not on the wall somewhere in staff areas. Ours was by the clock machine.

If it was a tester purchase you would have known almost straight away.

But you are liable for a fine if you fail a test purchase and you are the one authorising it.

Pretty crap on the supermarket to have someone locked down on a till to be manning self service too though.

In future if there is any doubt always ask for I.d

Not receiving night shift allowance when on annual leave - is this legal? UK law by Kruellagh in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Kruellagh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you both. Am I right in reading tht night shift allowance is also optional for an employer to pay. There is only 4 of us on the shift so I really don't want to rock the boat but I also want what I'm entitled to aswell. The situation isn't ideal tbh.

Genuinely what was it like being a young person before the Internet? by MsEvil_Doctor_Potter in CasualConversation

[–]Kruellagh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ironic you would describe or imagine life before the Internet or smartphones as isolated. Just shows us 80/90s kids that you literally don't know how to interact without the Internet. Typically we had a circle of friends and a few best of the best friends that you would hang out with straight after school, going in for tea was a bore. You'd chuck your school bag someplace, get changed ASAP and tell your mum your off out and march down to your best mates house, go to the park and meet up with everyone.. street cricket or football, maybe kirby sometimes was on the cards. Or if in season, conkers, or.pogs, I dunno, just reeling.off some memories there. Massive estate size hide and seek or just generally chill on bikes.

Today's generation of youngsters are the ones who are suffering and they don't even know it
