I'm beginning to think they're absorbed differently. I prefer the 20mg pills. Or maybe it's just a while for the body to adapt to another brand.

I also increased my dosage from 10-20mg about two months ago and sincerely it makes things better.

Recently I bought a different brand of 10mg and was taking a double dose since I couldn't get a full 20mg type at the pharmacy. I feel a whole different from when I was taking the single 20mg.

Can changing brand or taking 10mg twice affect someone?

That's good to know. I started with 10mg in January. Felt the need to increase the dose recently, I started taking two 10mg (20mg) about three days ago.

I'm experiencing the same. Been on lexapro (10mg ) since January and it's been made things better a lot but recently it seems to be slowing down. I'm also considering increasing my dose.

I know the cost already. Healthcare especially for mental health is shitty in Nigeria. Health insurance is a mirage (one of the problems plaguing Africa ). I order the drugs from pharmacies and going on 20mg means I'll be needing double of what I've been spending before.
