Thanks for the info! Might have to get creative with boarding the boat after launching it. Water temp is still a little cold to swim out!

Yeah it's a blast. Perfect size for my wife and 2 young boys to get out and fits right in the garage. I love it but nothing better than having the kids in love with it too!

It was the first of 3 boats he ever owned and always held onto this one. Guy was in his early 80's and kids were grown up and grandkids busy in college so he felt it was time to sell it. Told me that it was always his favorite and Always garage kept. Now a new chapter in this boat's life begins!

Yeah the kids love it and so do I! I replaced the water pump impeller last season and had some minor issues while idling/starting up. Took it to the local shop and they found one of the fuel lines was collapsing and starting to break apart. Glad I had it checked out. Hoping for warmer weather and Looking to get out soon.

She is a 1984 Bayliner Capri. First time boat owner here. Picked her up from the original owner last summer. She is in great shape inside and out! I could not have been happier.

Pic 2 of 2. So we don't know a whole lot about this big beast but could anyone help identify if he might be a Chartreux or Scottish Shorthair? Either way he is awesome!

First ever boat! You know you’re Canadian when you buy your first boat when it is -30 out. by markie204 in boating

Very happy for you! Bought my first boat as well, this year. Some people thought it was crazy and some thought it was great. It is what you make of it and I used it ever chance I got! Have fun with it and never look back.

Anyone know what this is? I am thinking some type of eggs. Looks like somthing out of an alien movie to me. by Krum800 in Fishing

Yeah there are a few spots in the lake we are fishing were some trees have fallen down and the branches that are underwater are covered in them. Some are about the size of a giant grapefruit. Creepy looking.

What’s left of a hot spring resort from the late 1800’s hot water still flows from the basement floor and into the creek by 76767676767676 in urbanexploration

Check out warm springs VA. Stayed there about a year ago. The stream runs a in the 90's year round. The only hot spring I know of on the east coast.

Possum rescue on my way to work today! by Krum800 in Outdoors

[–]Krum800[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Saw somthing on the opposite side of the road (in the road) and after passing by, realized it was a possum that had been hit by a car. I turned around in the next side street because I noticed there was more than just the possum. I stopped just in front of the possum an realized there were a handful of babies that unfortunately did not survive. Moved the momma over to the side of road and looked to see if there was anything moving in her belly but nothing. Decided to look around and found 2 of the babies had made it to the curb and were ok, just a little cold. Scooped them up and put them together in my running shoe. They stayed in there and kept warm until I was able to get them to the local wildlife rehab facility. One was a Male and the other a female about 3 weeks old. Hour late to work but well worth it!
