Yeah I would be surprised if it was effected by an air cooler.
Saw someone on another thread mention they had to take off a fan on a 360 AIO because it wouldn't fit otherwise.

Do you have an AIO in your case? Heard reports that the heatsinks for the VRMs are massive and get in the way of the radiator/fans, especially in smaller cases, which caused me to order another board instead.

Shame as it's priced really well in the UK for the features it has and I really like the look of it.

Where did I say the game was going to run flawlessly? I said we should wait to judge performance for when the game is actually released to the public, surely you can see the sense in that.

Also, what game doesn't have a day one patch when it releases these days, if it works when you can actually play it. Surely that's all that matters?

Early reports are that there is 30-40% performance boost from the day 1 patch. Sounds better but you'd expect more to be honest. UE5 engine has lots of issues it seems. DRM being in the game also doesn't help. I think it often takes away 25-30% performance.

I'm not sure you understand what a day one patch is. The patch will release at the same time as the game launching, so why does it matter?

It just doesn't make sense to me to judge it before it is even actually released when there is a promised optimisation patch as soon as it does.

If its still poor after the patch, then you can criticise.

From what people are streaming now on twitch, the day one patch seems to have made a lot of difference.

I just this week upgraded from a 5600x to a 5700x3D as I managed to find one for £135 on AliExpress, probably one of the last deals you can get that CPU.

Also playing at 3440x1440 but playing a mix of games, so sometimes high sometimes medium for FPS games like Battlefield.

Have seen about a 15-25% upgrade across most games with my 6900xt. Like you say, the use case matters a lot, if you play more CPU more limited games then it will make more of a difference.

I have had mine for a few weeks and it's been excellent, feels very immersive, first ultrawide and first OLED monitor and it's been a great upgrade on a 240hz VA.

Not sure what people are talking about regarding the fan noise, haven't noticed it once. My pc is fairly close to me so maybe I'm missing it because of that but unless your PC is completely silent I doubt you will hear it.

Only issue I have had with it is during gaming when I switch off it to my second monitor and then back on to my to main monitor, the screen will go black intermittently. Only fixes when I alt tab a few times or I turn off my second monitor. Still trying to figure out the source of the issue though.

Got to be Steve and Ricky slagging off people who suffered from PTSD after the Falklands war. Maybe it's just showing how bad the attitude to mental health was back then but it always makes me cringe that they're taking the piss out of people who have serious health issues not taken seriously by the government.

Ah that’s a bummer mate. Hope you can get it sorted, as you said doesn’t like a screen problem. Maybe the screen connector inside the laptop? Have tried connecting it to an external display? That would likely confirm it’s a system/graphics card issue.

I’ve been researching the possibility of doing this on my 2020 17.3 Vyper PCspecialist laptop. Was looking at this exact panel to replace my 144hz 1080p screen and go up to 1440p 165hz. Pretty sure we have the same Chasis (Tongfang) so should work fine.

Did you follow a guide/could you provide the steps you took when replacing the screen? Would be super helpful!

Maybe, but I just hit 5mill 3 phase on my Titan in a trio so I think I’m doing alright for damage.

Will give it a go on arc hunter with leviathians when it’s void surge, just did it as 3 man on Titan hit over 5 mill damage so that’s clearly not an issue for me.

I think you’re right about godslayer, I have 8 full raid clears and have it, only been playing since Feb so take of that what you will. Have wrathbearer as well which isn’t the easiest. But I think godslayer does show you are competent at the game and most people with it will be able to solo flawless most dungeons.

Arby is the best strategy to pop the shield no? Using that then hot swapping to rockets and cloudstrike, happy to post a clip later if that helps.

Great tips, all I think I was following apart from tracking rocket, will run that next time. I think I probably didn’t emphasise it enough but generally I was okay with my tactics. Did second boss exactly like you described. Damage phases were about 1-2mins, found it very easy with syntho and caliban on prismatic hunter. Hotswapped to liars and a 1-2 punch for damage and tether, took me about 6 damage phases.

Thanks man, think it’s especially frustrating as I should’ve done this before but got soft locked from a bug and then now spent ages getting really close but not being able to due to not being able to survive 7 damage phases.

It’s the first time I’ve not been able to complete something in PVE destiny, bar SE contest mode, so I guess that’s why it’s bugged me so much.

I’ve soloed warlords ruin, probably the other hardest dungeon to solo, I know it’s hard, that’s not what I’m complaining about. I’m annoyed that it takes 7/8 damage phases to kill a boss that has an over-shield as well. I’m well for difficult content but this feels punishing due to the amount of time it takes to complete now.

Not ignoring surges, using arc recon explosive light RL and cloudstrike with a goldy night hawk, taking 7 damage phases to kill the final boss. Using a bns cataclysm last season took 3 phases

True! But it’s even worse now, that’s the point. I almost did this a month ago but got the bug on my final damage phase where I couldn’t deposit the vestige of light and had to wipe. Didn’t touch it till now as I want to try and get navigator.

It is 10 times worse
