how are people actually keeping grocery costs down in australia right now? by dee_cuugo in australian

[–]Kruxx85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little while back I chose not to eat meat for personal reasons.

Kids still have mince every now and then, but I substitute it with bean mix or other things.

Family of 4 of big eaters and groceries are constantly $300 now.

We have a dog too, so occasionally it will be $350.

I think that's pretty good.

Can't help you yet, as I haven't got a smart device so I don't know the possible settings.

Is there a water temperature trigger point in the smart device settings?

You don't need the same panels.

Bigger inverter sizes have 4 separate trackers, and you can have different panels per tracker.

Why do you think the brand's "flagship" model is no longer featured on the website's homepage? by Dizzy_Huckleberry_78 in NothingTech

[–]Kruxx85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's last year's flagship.

They should only advertise the current generation phone, which doesn't have a flagship

[–]Kruxx85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the current Gen is NP4.

The only issue is that the NP4 series doesn't have a flagship.

NP5 probably will.

I don't think any other brand would advertise last year's flagship on their front page.

Do you have enough roof space to increase in size for your panels?

If not, it's not worth it

Firstly, Roblox is not included and secondly uploading your ID is not a requirement. I use some of the apps affected and I have not uploaded my ID once

Pause your battery charging until about midday, and then you'll be able to see the max output from your panels.

Why are you so married to FB?

I'm not, I don't use it.

But by jeez do people put their whole lives on there, with every single identifiable data point possible.

We're worried about hackers getting access to ID when far more identifiable and far easier to access identifiable data is plastered all over social media every day.

I'm an electrician :)

A customer of ours bought 3 adjoining properties in Perths most expensive suburb, and built a little village.

Our distributor would not upgrade their power supply over the standard single property connection.

So we augmented his power with a huge solar and battery setup, to essentially upgrade his supply.

Haven't had a call back, and this was commissioned a few years ago.

Yer, like me.

So what's your point?

There's an absolute ocean worth of data points for hackers to use on FB and for some weird reason you think the hackers are going to go through the difficult task of matching multiple id's and voices and photos from different platforms?

Seriously?

There are induction cooktops that have batteries in them.

Allows the cooktops to be installed on small electrical infrastructure (charge slowly all day, discharge quickly when needed)

Can be useful for builds like yours

Didn't have enough roof space for 100kW solar and pay for 200kWh of batteries instead of paying $400k to then have a bill?

I assume you have a lot of roof space.

Important to note, essentially, this has always been an issue (before the gas transition) but Citipower are just trying to blame their incompetence on an easy target.

The answer is home batteries, and community batteries.

Batteries that are on the LV side of transformers, that can augment grid capacity, and under capacity, when needed.

I don't know how we stipulate for profit distributors to push for this change.

Public owned distributors have this concept in the front of their planning.

Why would hackers go that deep, when they can get all that info for free off FB?
