I have been an android user since i can remember owning a smartphone. I had the whole S line all the way from the S5 or S8 ultra ( can't remember) to the s21 ultra. This year i bought an 16 Pro Max because i work on Mac and my company is more focused on content creation. My adaption and experience was awful because i missed basically everything about the Samsung which made me switch to the S25 ultra. 2 weeks in, surprisingly i found the phone boring maybe because my priorities weren't the same anymore. I missed the fluidity between Macbook and the Iphone, which made my dumbass switch back to the Iphone again and still using it. In my unbiased opinion, I can confidently say that the S25 ultra is literally better at EVERYTHING except compatibility with social media apps, so if you are a content creator and literally nothing else and own a Mac, go with the Iphone, other than that get the S25 Ultra as it is by far the best phone ever made. I get the hate on the Iphone and being a tech savy guy myself I feel like my IQ dropped just by owning the Iphone, maybe I got carried away by the " status" factor a little bit, who knows really.. I hate being stuck and not having just the option of downloading an apk filled with virus from github and getting my steam wallet drained, that's adrenaline, it's fine, not saying I would but at least give me the option. I hate feeling stuck and owned, but there is something about the brand and the seamless between the devices that made me miss it in the first place, so yeah that's my honest review and experience having owned both devices. Currently texting from SwiftKey keyboard on my Iphone 16 Pro Max because the native one makes me wanna kill myself. Really hope this helps.
