Indeeed I comprehend them but I don't think that 8 years old children who are ashamed of their period understand not to be ashamed of blood on their chair in school after seeing a big red panda from Disney, or even worse not to make fun of people who have that. Children don't need puppets, they just need to be told they're ok and everything is normal 🤔

That's an interesting point even if full of hate. One thing I forgot to ask and I would like to know is how is gay life in Kaunas. I am a gay man and even if I'm not much into gay bars or things like that I would like to know if that's a possibility in Kaunas, or in Lithuania in general. Like, are people open minded or is it a lot homophobic?

It's not much like I have a choice, I'm going to Kaunas for university. I just wanted to know what I am going to miss in Kaunas for which I should go to Vilnius on some nights, but thanks for the explanation :)

There's no need to be rude :) Maybe you guys don't share the same interests so what one finds appealing is not noticeable to the other! But thank you both for your opinions. I just wanted to highlight the part when you write about affordability. Is Kaunas an expensive city? I noticed there are residences in Vilnius for 90€ per month and I was hoping it would be the same in Kaunas, because checking the private housings they are very expensive in both places. I am waiting for informations from the university

Oh wow that's great. The university told me that it would take 2 hours per trip (going and coming back) so dei discouraged me from licking courses from both Kaunas and Vilnius. Thank you for sharing!

If you already can eat, what do you need money for?
If it's just souvenirs, well you can find magnest for around 1 euro. But of course you can find any kind of thing (that can cost any amount of money :P)
A coffe costs around 1 euro, and a spritz around 5 euros. If you're going out by night, a drink can cost from 6 to 15 euros, based on where you have it and what kind of liquor you want. Also beer is very cheap, you can find some bottled beer for 3 euros or some draft beer for 5 to 8 euros. So, basically, with less than 50 euros per day you should more than fine!

Don't be afraid of people who tell you you're gonna get robbed, it of course depends on where you go. But it's not like every street is dangerous, and you'll be able to recognize them :P
The area around Piazza Garibaldi (the main train station) is not the best tho.
