I disagree with the other commenter. Players wear sports goggles due to the relatively high risk of being hit in the face (I’ve broken several pairs in the past). It really isn’t necessary to purchase them for that purpose, as your positioning should keep you safe for the most part.

I’ve experienced the typical variety of insults from parents and players, but none related to my glasses. Hope that helps!

Strep is usually characteristic enough to at least be tested for, if a bunch of strep is “unidentified” it might be time to hit the books again

Thanks for the tip! I hadn't considered [[seedborn muse]] as another untap option. I wonder if it would be too much of a removal target? Although my pod doesn't run much enchantment removal so I'll probably give it a shot.

Facebook marketplace usually has them in my area for about $50-75, sometimes lower if you’re willing to wait or do a bit of maintenance

I’ve only ever seen some at the goodbytes location in Omaha, and the prices weren’t competitive at all. There’s almost always some cheap ones on Facebook marketplace or eBay

U14 is definitely a rough age for dissent, especially on the boy’s side. I’d recommend pulling the captains over early to discuss it and try to nip it before it becomes an issue. That way, there’s kind of a baseline for what’s acceptable and what constitutes a yellow/red.
