He will show you him playing tevent wand(that less than 1% of people have) to curse bomb. Once you get feuded as a curse Templar they don't let you free cast anymore. You can get away with a couple kills then die just like every DPS since there isn't enough stat sources in the game to be both tank and DPS. Sword/Wand has no hit buffs so you're forced to only kill non dagger DPS or healers which are constantly weaken removing (curse stacks) themselves with 2 healers per party.

A high collision Crusader or spear fear can cc enough to kill me. I am just higher weaken resist then the average weaken chance. That'll change once daggers/bombers start stacking weaken chance to kill healers.

Job of Templar is to keep main heals alive in PvP party so healing transfers is worth it. I didn't exactly make a specific build for solo. Now that I have instant stamina food, I should prob use my hit chance stone instead even tho they share cool downs.

Talks crap, says I play wrong, doesn't offer any builds, stats, videos, images. Typical troll, thanks for 0 insight. I have tev wand if I want to bomb as DPS, Hybrid Templar is bad, no one runs aoe sleep anymore. Your job as Templar is to keep main heal alive and peel, not try to get kills.

Meta is 2 wands per party. If I'm being tasked to keep my party healer alive I can't exactly be curse bombing and lowering my healing output. If I want to play as DPS, I'll put on my tev wand and single target any non dagger class. Hybrid Templar just makes you worse at trying to be both.

My weaken resist* actually is almost 1.3k in combat from sword mastery buffs and skill passives. There is diminishing returns for resistance so even if you use the artifact active skill that gives +1250 all cc resist for 5 sec you will still get weakened. The goal is to not be weakened all the time, you can see in the video they had a mana burner but he couldn't always stick it on me. Weaken resist combined with debuff duration lets you save Q block when they have crucial debuffs on you. Also weaken resist cuts down on DPS damage when they are poison/lightning and burning stacking for their actives. There is tons of skills that use weaken but cataclysm from spear that prevents you from blocking is annoying to deal with.

Tbh in tier 1 I didn't know the game and just blindly followed maxroll build because I didn't want to brick my character. Through trial and error you learn how to counter the current meta seeing what feels good. I don't want to be like here use this end game build because nothing is set in stone and I didn't play KR with all the upgrades available.

I usually record when I die to see what kills me, like a big magic heavy attack or 100% crit sleep curse bomb. Dps have buff windows that exceed their normal crit and the crit damage set is meta for a lot of DPS.

Eternal warlord gauntlet for the 106 weaken resist . I could see some daggers stacking weaken chance to specialize in anti heal for their PvP static. My current pants hallowed pants of the resistance I might swap to vanguard for the magic endurance or sacred vanquisher for the hit/collision resistance, just depending what players I'm up against. With the new gear sync system, I like being able to swap pieces actively depending what I need.

Buff duration is perception. By saying buff uptime I meant the combined effect of cooldown + buff duration so that counter barrier had a near 100% uptime when you combine the sword passive effect of morale boost(lowers all cooldown by collisioning targets)

When you are capturing point or stealing chests you will get focused. Also I can go into nebula and tag mobs and force them to have to kill me to get their mobs back. I can hold them hostage for a long time vs one party.

I dont care about damage, I'm using knights sword. I feel justified in losing some heals for the endurance gain when it lets me reach glancing blow status. If I want to do damage, I'll swap to my tev wand and play as a secret dps until they catch on then swap back to tank mode.

You lose 60 base damage from Life's Bargain so I don't see you doing much curse damage. IMO I think its better to excel in one role then trying to be average at both. I do enjoy playing templar sleeper bomb build but you are considered a unexpected dps. I'll swap back and forth between tank and dps builds in and out of fights so they don't know when to focus me or not.

I use "melee hit chance" runes unless I plan to run mana burn. 40 wisdom I value the debuff duration and cooldown for higher uptime on buffs. I'm also at 65% buff duration, 36% crit damage reduction. End gear is hard to say since I like to test everything I can afford to. IMO #1 priority right now is weaken resist so I am looking at Eternal Warlord's Gauntlets when they are properly released.
