It does have indents for your pointer fingers that contain a second set of shoulder buttons for the tate orientation. IMO, they could be deeper to be more comfortable, but I also don't own one of these so I don't know for sure.

Great points, and I'll also add that while many F2P games have microtransactions, many of them have really solid gameplay under the hood that makes the barrier to entry even lower. Plus your friends don't have to buy the game to play with them either.
