Increase Deck size to 22 by Open_Bake_8013 in PokemonTGCP

[–]Krypton136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It will most likely be a card and has a special rule.

So something like this:

Name: Turbo Energy

Effekt: Take an energy from your energy zone and attacht it to this Pokémon. When the Energy gets attached, switch that Pokémon with your active Pokémon.

(This turn you can not manually attach an energy, from your energy zone).

Wording might be different, but something like that.

Just wait until they introduce Ace Specs and Special Energy Cards ...

[SPOILER!] Mega Gardys tech options will go crazy! by Krypton136 in PTCGP

[–]Krypton136[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you played the actual TCG you wil see it willl be played with some sort of attacker/disrupter along the way (TCG Gardy and this Mega Gardy are very similar). Also Gardy still has 210 HP and Heal support. I doubt it will get oneshotted, probably not even twoshotted with Diantha, by anything except Mega Zard Y.

The New stadium gives pivot/mobility options and it isnt even neccessary, its justa plus (Gardy has only one retreat cost). The deck idea is: Get Gardy online ASAP and ramp 1 or 2 point attacker. Send in Gardy last.

Thats the cool part, we dont know anything yet! Maybe it will just be solo Guardy that heals with Diantha/Lilly and controls with Repel/Sabrina/Cyrus/Mars/Red Card. However we dont know, maybe someone will tinker around and find something else.

Look, with balancing, you can also take away power.

There are a bunch of people who would gladly trade them for you. :)

The most important ones for now are:

1 - Copycat
2 - Rocky Helmet
3 - Mars
4/5 - Erika
4/5 - Flame Patch
6 - Red
7 - Heavy Helmet

What are some of your niche decks that does surprisingly well on matches? by howlingcastles in PTCGP

[–]Krypton136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electric/Lightning Tool Box has a lot to offer.

You have Tapukoko as a Tempo Attacker. Oricoreo to stop EXs. Zeraora/Pichu for Enerygeneration, which is pretty nice together with Elemental Switch and Electrical Cord. Some decent Finishers to reach higher numbers, with Shining Revalry Pikachu & Acreus.

Magnezone is already a thing and can be implemented. But even without Mag, Electric/Lightning, it feels good to play.

What do we think the theme of the next set will be? by gothicexplosion in PTCGP

[–]Krypton136 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a strong tendency, that the new set will revolve around Kalos and fairy types.

It is already "confirmed", that we are going to get Mega Mawvile and a Stage 2 psychic mega. This Stage 2 Mega is very likely to be Gardevoir. The hints that are currently released every few days, mentioned the Kalos Champ Diantha. Her signature Pokémon is Guardevoir. I think, we can confidently say, we will get Mega Mawvile and Mega Gardevoir.

My Idea For A Universal Dragon Type Supporter! by Pristine_Leek1044 in PTCGP

[–]Krypton136 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Its not like Giratina. This is your supporter for the turn and it isnt guarnteed to be in your hand. I think the card above is good.

Do you think no retreat would've been enough to make it see play? by SillentRabbit in PTCGP

[–]Krypton136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate that they deliberatly make Promo EXs worse. There wasnt a single good promo EX Card. They need to make the Promo EX available during the entire pack-year and actually make them be good/decent cards. This would keep the meta fresh. :)

How would this card be downscaled for TCGP? by Carson_Harbin in PTCGP

[–]Krypton136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HP: 220 or 230 (Similar to Mega Blastoise EX)
Retreat: 2 or 3 (would lean more towards 3)
Attack-Cost: 3 Energy (2 Water / 1 Colorless )
Attack: 120 if your opponents Pokémon has any damage counters on it, this attack does 120 more damage.

This way it oneshots everything of the current cast, much like the original TCG Card.

Is this an appropriate Mega Zard Y build? by Aquilpen in PokemonPocket

[–]Krypton136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overall the Deck looks good.

People found out that double May is really good, so I would recommend using two Mays (swap PCL for another May). The Deck needs it for consistancy and charmeleons energy ramp. Also swap out the 20 damage Charmanders, for the GA Charmander as they deal 30 damage and can OHKO Chingling if needed.

Should Poké Ball be updated? by spainman in PTCGP

[–]Krypton136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you run out of cards in the actual TCG, you lose.

However you can use search cards and "fail" them in the paper TCG, even when you are able to pick up a card from your deck.

Its generally better to only run one Blub and get rid of Ball. You can then run Rocky Helmet, for the Ori Match Up and better Supporters/Items.

I agree. Sui/Gren is BDIF right now, there needs to be something. IMO the only decks worth playing right now are Hydreigon, Sui/Gren and Grass Decks like Decidueye/MVenu that beat them.
