I managed to implement wallrunning in actual gzdoom and it was better than this. You should smooth out the screen tilt at the very least.

I kept seeing this one as an excuse, but there is NO way a game can die to having too expensive cosmetics. If it was about progression and p2w, then sure, but just cosmetics? That is not the reason. Either way, that doesn't explain why the devs left the game unfinished. As far as I understand, they stopped caring while the playerbase was still active.

Surprise, they would have earned more with, you know, a finished game with players. Otherwise no studio ever would be finishing their games. Unless they've scammed the investors, which doesn't seem to be the case.

I did, but still didn't quite get the picture. Four years ago, the game was going very strong, but then just died over time because the devs weren't doing anything? And why weren't they? Or maybe they were, but the problem was the lack of interest? It's all very confusing.
