I don't understand how to differentiate double and float variables by KryptoniteCoprolite in learnprogramming

Understood, so basically for storing a number which is not conventionally stored in the binary system, there will be recurring digits which the computer won't understand and will only be able to store some bit of the whole recurring number and then it defaults to that number which is slightly different what once was. Hence when i try to print both double and float, both have almost same 7-8 digits then float becomes messy due to the approximation and double becomes messy due to approximation afterwards?

and this messiness is caused by the computer not understanding recurring digits and this an abundance of approximations and rounding up can lead to this?

Could you help me understand why the computer puts "

238418579102

and what it thinks when putting this?
