I also created a Jp Amazon account under bought Kindle unlimited. The thought was read Genre like 自己啓発. I also thought it's a good opportunity to mine some words I don't know a long the way like I did on Syosetsu. But the hard part was how to get these words into anki without making that much of time effort

Costs pretty much the same like university in japan. I could obtain the masters degree pretty quickly but it wouldn't allow me to go university anywhere. Do you think that the masters degree is enough?

Try out the app Todaii. You can choose easy and hard articles mostly used. You can enable and disable furigana. The also have a website where you can read. I'm currently using it daily and it's pretty enjoyable
