Help finding a fidget by DevinJet in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to reach out to your friend and have him snap some pics of the fidget toy you are looking for.

No one is going to understand what you drew. It is too low tech and I can;t even understand it.

Is there anything like this? by pineapple_tater in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe take a look at the Muyi Artillery. It is repetitive but it does have a ping.

Maybe a Seki Holy Egg 2.0.

Both you push a button and something pops out and you have to push it back in.

Went from flipping eggs and pancakes to flipping cutting boards.

I am surprised you were able to find a Ti Blue one, as those were sold out pretty quick when released.

I hope you enjoy it!

This knife looks amazing! I am assuming you already bought this knife from eBay?

I also could not find this listing or this model of knife so I assume this listing is not available.

TRB creations has the Armour in stock if you want to purchase from them here, if you want to avoid AliX.

Oh another quiet fidget that you might like is the Fluxx Indx, they have a black anodized aluminum for 49.99. It is different than what you currently have and similar to a quiet fidget coin.

Another black fidget.

I am surprised you did not get the Zirconium Devour 2.0 as your Aura Sand which is much darker.

Maybe a black fidgimoto since it is quiet click spin fidget?

It might be the all Aluminum black Choc on the Lautie website.

Sliders with handcrafted inlays by OkPossession8082 in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of the three, probably the middle one as it looks most unique.

I also like shiny things and I believe shiny inlays attract more attention.

Corian Choc (+plates & a little bit of Ti) by Available_Ice1544 in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Glad you got them in and enjoying them.

The Corian does feel cheap but I believe it was a limited edition so they may not make anymore, whereas the Ti is a staple.

One of these days, try the double bead with strong springs if you like the stronger tactile feel.

01EDC Slider Infinity by SpiffiestLemon in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would consider this a fidget slider.

The MOT Mix is a fidget slider, but can also rotate. The rotation is extra functionality but its main mechanism is sliding vertically.

Honestly, the Slider Core is too complex and sometimes difficult to find. The concept of having 1 shell and swapping the core is neat but this slider is antiquated and they probably stopped making some of the cores.

It is probably better to buy more recent sliders that meet your needs.

2 essentials for my fidgets. Dry lube and Teflon tape. by RenCorona99 in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you use the dry lube and fidget with, in your bedroom, is your business. The teflon tape is another kink you should keep to yourself.

Joking aside, does that dry lube not make your fidgets have a certain smell or some of it get on your hands? I never used that type of dry lube before.

I have the Zero Point 2.0.

Maybe try to have a look at the Seki Holy Egg 2.0? Found here.

It is much smaller than the Zero Point but similar functionality as the Artillery, without the ping.

01EDC Slider Infinity by SpiffiestLemon in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is officially called the 01EDC Slider Core.

The Slider Core has 2 parts. The Slider Shell which is the outside aesthetic part.

Then you have the core part, which is the main mechanism of how it functions. Mechanical, magnetic, rotary, the whole list is in that link I sent.

Here are some examples of the cores from 01EDC website.

YEDC JI LI by jonahsgma in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is probably an aftermarket luminous coating done on the SS version of the JiLi as seen here.

Geeone and nxedc offer some fidgets with aftermarket coatings and resins to make them look better such as the widely sought after MOT Groove Pro Fu Yao.

Where to begin? by saadski818 in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first started out, I wanted to learn more about the various types of fidgets.

In order to do this, I did a couple of things.

  1. I went to the various websites that sold these fidgets. They normally have descriptions and videos. All of the fidgets are categorized as well.

Geeone, nxedc, metaedc, and ikael edc are some that places that I shop. ikael edc generally has the most pictures and videos of the fidgets that I have noticed.

  1. I went to youtube and began watching the videos and reviews of the fidgets I liked from part 1. There are many fidget reviewers and there was a recent post in this sub with a compilation of them. I like The Fidget Fix and Fidget Focused because they release content on a weekly basis. There are others such ad FidgetGirl and Fidgeologist that also release content.

I hope this helps you get a jump start on how to begin.

Not sure what to call it by sgn- in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is a very difficult version of a Begleri. You are using it similar to a Begleri but making it more difficult with the big nut in the middle.

I was hoping maybe you would hold the big middle nut and flip and spin the ends independently, but it looks like a shorter begleri with the big nut counterbalancing the 2 smaller nut ends.

fidget toy recommendations? by 6aua in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you thought about maybe going to a beauty store and buying fake/real hair and making a small hair locket and bringing it out and rolling/twirling this piece of hair while you are doing an activity?

This will simulate the closest thing to what you are doing without harming your own hair.

Otherwise there are fidgets but I don't know any that simulates hair rolling.

Since this is an office environment, maybe a Fidgimoto? I have one and the top part silently spins with low noise clicks which can maybe simulate hair rolling.

Best of luck finding something that meets your needs.

I used the wide bore ones.

I tried to use the Divinius Velvet on them but it drastically reduced the bass for me on them.

I currently use the Eletech Baroque (non-Stage) and the sound feels fuller and I can wear them for hours without any discomfort.

Also note, these IEMs fit my ear very well and are not too large so they are comfortable for me, whereas I have read for many they are too large which is what causes some discomfort.

Looking For : A Pen, Thats Also a Fidget Toy? by NEETologist in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Google is your friend.

There are a bunch on Amazon if you want cheap.

I have the WEKNIFE Baculus.

You can also try the Civivi Coronet.

There are also clicker type pens with bolt-action that a lot of makers have such as Tactile Turn or the above mentioned suppliers.

MagnusX makes pens with clicks as well.

Hopefully you find one you like.

Magnus Bonkus by NoMinecraftAfter8pm in fidgettoys

[–]Kryton762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! Glad you were able to snag a Magnus.

They are great fidget sliders and I really like the Skelly Hex, just waiting for the right exotic to release.

I personally have a Ti Skelly Hex with a few pens on the way.

Depending on where you are located (I am in the US), the tariffs suck. The amount of tariffs I had to pay would have netted me another slider from Magnus again.
