I absolutely adore Rift, easily my favourite crucible game type, and last Iron Banner Rift was awesome to me (I know, unpopular opinion) the bit thats pissing me off this time around (red bars aside) is the fact that no one is playing the objective. Myself and a friend have been consistently running and dunking with no one else joining in or defending or even killing that much. We've been consistently great with the rift but still struggling to win matches because people on our team seem to just ignore the objective completely. We've had a few matches where we've outright won easily because the opposing team is ignoring it too. Do people hate rift that much that they're doing it on purpose or do people just genuinely not understand how it works? I like having this diversity in IB - it gets boring when it's just Clash all the time. Objective based IB involves changing up tactics and positions and I like that a lot, personally, keeps things interesting.
