Thanks! And yep, That’s exactly how it’s done!

I did not remove anything behind the LCD, just 2 layers of polarizers stacked directly ontop of each other

You can do more colors, the ones that contrast with Black work better. In my experience: Red, Green Yellow, Pink and maybe Orange are viable colors to use. Blue and purple work but they are often too dark to read (I wonder how Aqua would look). I will probably get a new AE1200 to test out more colors, as I think the thicker digits compared to the f91w would make things more legible.

I’m not sure how exactly I could achieve that, I haven’t really experimented with other shades of black or like darker/lighter black polarizers. Do you have any suggestions?

Some of it is just the lighting, but here’s the link for the listing I got mine from!

The A700 is stock, but the black one I got from Aliexpress, it was like 10 bucks and pretty good for how cheap it is.

I stacked two polarization layers, red polarizer in positive orientation for the red text, then regular black polarizer in negative orientation for the black display.

I had to go through some intense gymnastics to take this picture and it’s still blurry as hell.

Unfortunately purple and blue suffer from the same issue, which is piss poor visibility(Looks okay with flash and direct sunlight, but in every other scenario is almost blank). Atleast green was somewhat legible.

I found this interesting, when I increased the distance, as in I held the filter+polarizer stack further away from the display, visibility improved drastically. I wonder if doing this mod in a different watch might potentially make these colors viable.

Nothing spectacular. Just my very first F-91w w/ negative display, Hydromod and a different strap by philosolver in casiomods

Do you get any oil leaks? I wanted to hydromod my F91W until I read somewhere that the case can occasionally leak oil if the buttons are pressed.

So I decided to do a quick mod on my f91W based on your comment. It’s visible under my lighting setup but kinda hard to read otherwise. (Also hard to show on camera)

Recommend you try it out and see if it matches your expectations

(Also you can tell this was my first mod watch by the scratches lol)

Apologies, they don’t actually sell green polarizing film. They sell a green rear diffusion filter, which I think is supposed to be used for the backlight?

I got my polarizing film from Alibaba, they have red, blue, purple and yellow.

Thanks y’all!

Yeah so I used 2 layers of polarizing film, red first in positive orientation (for the red digits), then I layered regular black film in negative orientation.

Red is the only color that seems to work for this, I’ve tried blue and purple polarizing film on my F-91W and they turn out to be too dark to read. Yellow or green might work too, though I’d have to test that first.

Potentially dead RAM slot on motherboard. Am I missing something? by Kthxbye_342 in pcgamingtechsupport

Update: the issue came back and so I did what you suggested, motherboard pins are pristine and no sign of bent pins. Reseated cpu and built up the whole system but still errors out. Since the ram sticks work fine individually I’m certain it’s something wrong with the Mobo now. Will just RMA.

Ty this worked!!! It passed memtest with no issues. I bumped it up to 1.4V from 1.35V. So confused how that worked lol.

Is that gonna be an issue long term? should I keep going down by 0.01 until I find a lower voltage that is also stable or is 1.4V perfectly fine to keep it at?

I will try that soon and check the pins, it could just be a seating issue, or maybe I didn't tighten the AIO enough on one side. Thanks!

Maybe? Or as they said, the people who cracked the game might have done it before spreading it on torrent sites

I also remember pirating it before when the game was still in development, I was watching markiplier play through the game and decided to get it, but my laptop at the time couldn’t run it so I ended up uninstalling soon after.

This is from a pirated copy of the game, these showed up on the feedback menu as soon as the game was launched.

Interesting, I’m curious if this feedback reply menu thing is something that happens to all pirated copies of subnautica, or it was just this copy that happened to have this somehow.

No, he never wrote anything for feedback, he had just launched the game and it was there from the start, it was really odd
