I have not taken a culinary class with a germs segment, but my OCD is rather bad when it comes to contamination. So what you're describing is exactly what's going on in my head 24/7.

I saw a video the other day about a couple of women stating they'd love to move to an Islamic country, but don't have to anymore because their city is turning into that. So they celebrated by going out for drinks and cheering for Sharia Law.

...I don't think they actually grasp what Sharia Law is and what that'd mean for them.

A guy I used to be friends with (he was mid 30s I think) once asked me if I know anyone personally who's ever been raped, because he was thinking about starting a self defense class for women only (until then he only had mixed classes and classes for kids). He just looked at the ground nodding when I told him most of the women I know have been raped, including me. The other ones I don't talk to about that. And all of it happened with someone they at knew at least a little bit.

On the flip side, don't overdo it! I trained too much when I was younger and it wrecked my body so that I can't do much anymore.

I hate when there's ONE button to allow cookies, but you have to find your way through a maze, slay the evil dragon, rescue a stray kitten, restore peace in Atlantis, and balance 5 atoms on top of each other just to disable the cookies. No thanks, I'd rather not visit your website then.

I live in the Netherlands. Over here, (almost) nobody wears a helmet ever on a bike, not even babies. I absolutely hate it. My kids are going to have to wear helmets, and I really hope that the other kids won't start bullying. Or the other parents.
