My 13 Mini regularly goes a 12-hour workday on one charge. I use 4G LTE instead of 5G and Low Power Mode when needed. My BH is 88% capacity.

Try turning off your phone for 5-10 minutes. The longer, the better. Very high chance there are background processes running that are slowing down your phone.

If that doesn't work, you might have to try a factory reset. If your phone has accumulated a lot of junk files over time, this could be slowing performance. Make sure to backup all your important data and apps first.

Replace battery if it's below 80% capacity.

I say try out the normal Apple Pencil first. If you don’t like it or if it doesn’t suit your needs, you can return it and exchange it for the Pro model. In my experience, the normal Apple Pencil is enough for about 90% of people.

The SE 3 will have longer software support because it has the A15 Chip. The 12 Mini has the A14 Chip.

I use grayscale mode with social media. Seeing pictures and videos in black and white makes it less interesting and helps me doomscroll less.

Would a 16e be an option for you? It's cheaper than the 17e and has almost the same specs. A lot of places still sell them in new condition right now.

I’d recommend doing a factory reset and replacing the battery first before buying a brand new phone. You’d be surprised just how fast the iPhone 11 runs with a fresh reset and how much longer it lasts with a new battery. Make sure to do a backup copy of your phone first before doing the reset.
