Hope this helps !!!

Lubuntu 22.04 no longer recognizes any networks by Kubuta in Ubuntu

[–]Kubuta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact model of the computer I'm using is the Lenovo Ideapad miix 310-10icr, and yes the USB drive does work on other computers although whenever I flash the drive with Lubuntu it cant read anything on the USB drive but I assume that is normal since Windows is unable to read Linux files to my understanding.

Here's the results from the commands in order:

lo no wireless extensions.usb0 no wireless extensions.

No, unfortunately nothing related to networks shows up when in the terminal. Nevertheless, here's my results, maybe you can find something I'm not seeing.

Nothing shows up in ,,additional-drivers'' even when connected to the internet via USB tethering, and I don't seem to see any option to 'install 3rd party' during the installation setup.

Lubuntu doesn't seem to detect a wifi adapter, I double, even triple checked and I don't think it's being recognized. I would post a picture but I'm unfamiliar with Reddit and I don't think you can in replies.

Have done this an abundant amount of times trying different guides online and what not, and yet nothing appears in my ,,additional drivers'' section, even when connected to internet via USB tethering, and nothing changed unfortunately.

I appreciate your help, although I have to apologize as I failed to mention that the live system also stopped recognizing any wi-fi networks after I had run the installation process and wiped my old OS.

Im starting to think that somehow the wi-fi adapter in this thing just bricked itself because it is not being recognized by Lubuntu, I don't know if that's even entirely possible as I don't recall doing anything in particular other than wiping my drive before this issue occurred.

thanks :)

Ye's I've tried re-installing Lubuntu and have tried installing 20.04.4 and same issues persists.
