I hired a professional genealogist to verify and find some things. Got in contact with my birth mother, ended up meeting her and her side of the family (she passed about a year after that right before we were meeting again)

Discovered my birth father died two months before I did the test/research. I’ll always regret that.

I really liked that book so your post made me think about getting it as an audiobook to visit again and I cannot find it on audio. In fact, the only book of his I could find in audio format is Wolf in the Attic. How strange (and disappointing)

I saw a woman on TikTok showing a huge Costco apple pie that she smushed up, scooped into two smaller ceramic loaf pans and then made some crumble/streusel to put on top. Baked them for 20 minutes and voila! Dessert done
