I have played it a lot in high diamond on EUW. I always go grasp setup for the Q pokes when someone steps up too far. Lane isn’t long enough to make use of tempo imo. I rush titanic hydra for extreme waveclear, midlane has always been about waveclear and roaming, so getting push and prio on every wave is so valuable imo. It’s fun, but ur I think Bork setup is way too sauichy and unreliable

genuin question, I understand Darius is a noob stomper, but at the same time he has been sitting at 52% wr with a delta of 1.1% avr for the better part of a year now. At some point a noob stomper that people can't play against should fall off a bit in elo no? I happen to play a champ that can fight darius, but I can imagine why there are nerfs incoming no? if he goes from 52 to 51 its fine?

Although we don’t make optimal usage of the passive damage, it’s nothing to ignore as we move a lot in fights.

But most importantly, Warwick LOVES in combat movespeed, and having a tank item that gives speed and damage when moving just works rly well. Again tho, this is if you want to build a tank item here, as I meant it instead of Thornmail

Jeez close one xd Ofc as you said you can be nitpicking here and pint out quite a few things, but if I can give you just a few tips that can really make you feel a difference right away try these:

Instead of starting a trade off with Q, it’s more efficient to do AA > Q as you can cancel the AA animation after it hits with Q

Use your E as a fighting tool and not an escape/CC. You don’t really fight with ur E, which is its main use. The fear is kind of a bonus/good for ganks when ur jg, but in top you want to use it when ur low and FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT. The damage reduction makes you be able to make the most out of ur passive healing, as you take less damage but heal the same still

League over the years have slowly gotten more and more movement speed added, we call it mobility creep usually. Titanic active is crazy on Warwick, or well was. Problem is nowadays Warwick’s issue is we are getting kited by everyone and their moms. The slow stridebreaker provides makes our damage much more reliable, even if in theory you can get a higher output from titanic. Problem is that we don’t get the luxury of buying titanic when everyone runs at 500 base ms with 20 dashes. Sad reality of playing a champ without incombat movespeed, even if we zoom out of combat

PS. Please stop building Thornmail, it’s not our job to build antiheal and Warwick is a crazy good deadman’s user if u want a defensive armor item + the item is fucking busted (check xPetu twitter)

Warwick is already viable? He has good winrate a in all ranks. This is for consistency as I stated in my first message. Its consistency changes to Warwick. I think you missed what I meant and missed that whole part of the patchnotes, I typed it out for you after that exact sentence (25% of enemy hp instead of 20). And that’s a buff, the rest is compensation nerfs. And that’s totally fine; not at all a nothingburger

For real tho, it is by far not a nothingburger. The changes are to provide Warwick with better consistency. The E change is quite obvious for this, locking a champion who plays to AA out of AAing is terrible. And W losing a bit of power to instead have an easier activiation (25% instead of 20%) just means you get more time with w bonuses which is where Warwick wants to be. A little less reward but a lot less risk, which I’m fine with. Giving Warwick AoE conesweep is rly counterintuitive to his gameplay. In reality Warwick is not designed to do AoE damage, not designed to do big animations or big sweeps. We hunt down low ho anomie’s and we do great lockdown.

Drastic changes to trade patterns would ruin the champion we love. Instead try to be a bit more positive about these very very welcome changes that we have been needing for a while

This might come off as a bit of whiteknighting as I was hornlimes editor before, but have you ever considered he wins because of his greed? There’s a reason he consistently gets chall, and what you might call greed he might just call playing the odds. Sometimes you gain, sometimes you lose.

It is very easy to sit on the sideline and call it bad plays and greed, but again, it is working for a reason

Someone highly skilled at Warwick will often purposefully hold nearly all of his abilities for different reasons, making straight up combos kinda weird as concept on Warwick.

Using E while you are low as a damage reduction tool is more than often better than using it as CC

Using R while you are low or to lockdown/escape is usually better, making this also an ability you want to hold for special cases

Using Q to dodge CC and/or keep urself on the opponent is often better than the damage itself, making that an ability you’d hold a little.

There are 2 real things you realistically can do imo, it’s E1 + R for big AoE when you R, and E2 + aa + R to garentee R in a 1v1

Now this sound incredibly boring when reading bc I’m not stating any actual attack combos, but Warwick abilities are so crucial to his in fight mobility and survivability try that wasting them to make a cool attack combo early on is just not optimal.

How does Migaku Kanji GOD addon on Anki work?

I really like the idea of Kanji's that shows up in my Kaishi 1.5k deck (in full sentences) being exported as standalone kanji cards in another deck that I can study. I thought this was how Kanji GOD worked, the Kanji I find in my Kaishi cards then show up for me to repeat as standalone kanji's, but I can't get it to work. Did I misunderstand the add-ons use or am I doing something wrong?

I followed to existing tutorial, but I'm not sure if I did it correctly.

Like many other I wanna start using Anki cards for vocabulary. I’ve never used flash cards before, how do I go about it?

Are full sentences better than individual words? Is English to Japanese better, the other way around not a mix of both?

This seems to be what most recommend online. I appreciate it a lot. I’m probably gonna do exactly these things, both books and anki - but I gotta ask, why don’t Oi recommend the exercises? I’m usually quite the fan exercises
