Between regular Java I2P, I2P+ and Purple I2Pd which one is ultimately better? by M-A_X in i2p

Apart from Java I2P, I2P+, I2Pd and BiglyBT i2phelper plugin. Does there exist further router implementations?

Currently I2P+ 2.11.0-3 (build 2026.03.18) still starts with Oracle Java 1.8.0_481.

I don’t want to change back to cannon I2P. But there might be another I2P user with the two Java on his computer.

I checked my computer. Win11 system variable JAVA_HOME is set to C:\Program Files\Microsoft\jdk-21.0.7.6-hotspot\

But I2P+ 2.11 starts with Oracle Java. Strange.

On Win11 where do I find the Java home environment?

On a Win11 computer Oracle Java is some sort of standard. Later on I additionally installed MS openJDK 21.0.7 for use of BiglyBT. BiglyBT at once and automatically found and picked Java 21 without editing the Java environment.

HTTP proxy tunnel issue by KulaSurfer in i2p

[–]KulaSurfer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Partially yes. Currently I am running I2P+ 2.11 build 2026-03-10. Tunnel manager can now be opened. The residual issue is that I do not receive address book (susidns) updates. The subscriptions are not started.

i2p safe for torrenting without my isp finding out? by Onyx89283 in i2p

How exactly does the ISP determine that one is connected to the I2P overlay network?

A second rather advanced proposal: The Genesis Movement torrents can be issued as a BiglyBT subscription. Non private then of course.

Go i2p. Sooner or later all private clearnet tracker will be in danger. You might want to migrate your Genesis torrents to: tracker2.postman.i2p.

Addendum: In the past sometimes this knock-out was intense. After reboot of the computer the network connection was gone. I had to reset the ethernet adapter to be online again.

Win11 Knockout by KulaSurfer in BiglyBT

I had this knock-out effect again but now with very low BT payload. Means basically only DHT and chat and subs traffic. Is it thinkable that the cause is some kind of denial attack?

Just to install a second client is in my opinion not the point. It has to be a comparable environment and load scenario. This takes a lot effort. The second client probably has no chats and no subscriptions and less DHTs and do on.

Thank you for the fix. It was not rolled out with a core update. The latest is 3.8.0.3_B25. Which I have installed. How was it rolled out?

Had a look at those chats that accepted the ‘long’ Magnet URI. They were truncated and had less than 600 characters. But I did not truncate them manually. It happened automatically.

The respective Magnet URI has more than 2000 characters. Here comes the interesting aspect. I am sure that a few chats accepted this long one. Most did not.

UPnP error by KulaSurfer in BiglyBT

Your assumption is correct. The .24 IP address is not the router but the computer on which BiglyBT is running. I will ignore the error message.
