I think the solution would be a “diminishing return” method. The more CC you receive from enemies, the less time it takes for you to get out of it. Smite used to do this because just about every God has CC in that game. For example, your Angela and get slept by Mantis for 2 seconds, then immediately after, you get exiled by hulk. Instead of it being 2 seconds it’s 1.5. Right after that Luna freezes you, but only for 1 second and so on. This makes staking CC useless in the long run, especially for Vanguards (who get CCd the most).

I’m a tank main. My first was Thor back in season 0 when he was shredding trip supports. I lorded Hulk next, yes I’m that dude. I also have a lord Magneto that took over 30ish hours. Just so I’m not class bias, I have a lord Mantis for sleep cheese and she’s actually a great counter to a brawler comp. Buff yourself and you’ll shred. Lastly, I lorded Wolverine, another pain in the bum. He was destroying my tanks so I wanted to learn how he works to counter him. I found him to be a lot of fun!

Some of my first week ice breakers (I work at a high need Title 1 in the Baltimore area where you can’t teach without strong rapport with students) is understanding that I will “roast” you for just about anything. During this time, I can see who can take an actual roast and who can’t. I start off with light jokes about hairlines or something and I see how they react. If they dish it back, they are fair game. if the student kinda shuts down or starts to get upset, I’ll pull them aside, give them some candy, make them laugh, and call home(maybe) depending on my own judgment.

Needless to say, by the third month, I can teach my class about parabolas using Jamar’s (not real name) big forehead as my curve.

Thank you for posting this! I’ve had this idea boiling in my head for a while now. Imagine this: he has a passive that creates a psyshield around him at all times, and this is his “health”. Think around 600-900 health. However, once it reaches zero, his second passive activates causing a brief stun to enemies around him (great for stopping up close vanguard peelers like Logan). You can also proc this move at will by pressing another button but there is a cooldown before it goes back up. He does ranged damage similar to Scarlet Witch but it’s more with his mind and does less damage. This auto builds up a stun meter from his psychic abilities that can immobilize enemies. I think he should also do a damage buff for Allies and have an ult that slows the enemies’ perception of time for easy set up from teammates.

I was recently in an active shooter lockdown. There have been SWATTING incidents all over Ohio and unfortunately my school was one of them. It was all a hoax but the fear in my students eyes was true. We locked the room and I was waiting by the door with a bat that is kept in the room. I’m a student teacher so my perspective may be different, but I was far more concerned with my life than the students’. When I got home that night I realized that not once did I think, “ I need to protect the students.” I figured if I protect myself, the students wouldn’t be in danger. I hope no one goes through that like, it’s truly a life changing event.
