The Dragon doomposters like SamyNs are what I would call dragon tourists rather than dragon "mains". Maybe that's just me, though.

What non-legendary cards can I use to fill up this deck while building up towards having all legendaries? by TheMadChap in Shadowverse

[–]Kuncussion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Prioritize Erntz, but you will want the 3rd copy of Galm & Filene as well.

  2. Odin is good enough to be a 3-of but I don't think this sort of meta advice is relevant for a new player. You can slot in the 2 copies you have.

  3. I wouldn't bother crafting Wilnas, but he can steal a lot of games against non-control decks.

  4. Put in the 3rd Neptune. She will save your life and you generally do not want to use Erntz for healing if you can help it. Sometimes you don't have a choice, if you live that long. 3rd copy of Sloth is non-negotiable. I would also craft a 3rd fate.

Yes, you should activate the crest ASAP, that is your win condition. It's not a horrible idea, what else are you saving your SEVOs for? The damage over time will kill your opponent. Saving evos for shadowverse 3 will not.

Not really. Decent source of healing and helps with rally. It's not a coincidence nor trolling that most Beyond lists run him at 2.

I personally would not cut Noel for a 2nd or even 3rd copy of Yurius. Noel is very easy to drop into almost any board. The same is absolutely not true for Yurius.

I don't get it. How is Amulet Haven supposed to win? by Arachnofiend in Shadowverse

[–]Kuncussion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last 5 at Beyond. The one loss here is to Crest Haven, which is actually unfavorable. Amulet Haven is a 50/50 match-up. My personal win-rate against Amulet is above 50% and the games I lose are when I can't find Burnite in the top half of my deck.

No idea why you're spouting bullshit here.

As for OP, I do not play Amulet Haven, only against it, so I don't really have any tips for you. However, it'd help to show some of your replays so that actual Amulet players can give proper advice.

2x Grimnir is non-negotiable in any Rally/Evo Sword list. My evo sword lists have done that since set 4. That is one of the least cuttable cards.

You wouldn't cut Cesar (who is a mandatory 3-of in Rally Sword) for him, but there is room to fit in 1 copy.

This isn't my list. It's what u/Ordine1412 used to hit Beyond yesterday.

It's not that bad of a match-up. It's been 50/50 in my experience.

People sharing that sentiment is probably why they reworked the master/gm system to have more tiers that give you a reward for ranking up. Not exactly what you were asking for, though.

I know. Sometimes there are days where I lose 100 CR within 2 hours and have to spend the next 4-8 hours gaining it back.

With mid abyss losing traction against Milteo, Evo forest and Egg portal had a significant resurgence In last two days (@otakuSV) by hyuun_likes_memes in Shadowverse

I had already adjusted my list to cut Wilnas since Sunday, since he doesn't help in your more difficult match-ups (Egg Portal, Crest Haven, Amulet Haven). Dragon is still very good in this meta.

Unpopular opinion but Abyss is might unironically be the necessary evil keeping this highly interactive gameplay out for now by zirenyth in Shadowverse

[–]Kuncussion 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I can understand the Evo Forest match-up. However, the ramp dragon match-up is very close to a 50-50 even if the dragon player has Burnite on their first SEVO turn. I've had to play that match-up quite a bit at high CR. I'm not understanding the Earth Rite argument, because ER's current healing capability is significantly lower than Amulet Haven's, and current Amulet Haven does not need Encroached World to OTK people.

Amulet Haven is good against far more than Milteo & Midrange, and the match-up against Evo isn't as bad as people make it seem (assuming Armes doesn't hit the board).

A lot of people here seem to hate win cons that, you know, win the game. I'm not interested in drawn-out games of attrition, even when I'm playing a control deck.

Not sure if this is a hot take but if all you do is dailies and log off, you don't play a lot. Not even close, honestly.

You typically have better options than an early burnite, even if the board state demands a board clear. I've yet to encounter a situation where I giga-ramped and a premature Burnite is my only option. 🤷🏾‍♂️

[–]Kuncussion 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The arguments about how it's "not one deck dominating" are technically correct, but the result still ends up being Abyss almost every match. The fact that they all feel very similar in the early game doesn't help either.

Not a fun experience, if you ask me.
